Garlok instapop after testing a theory about FATE "Just a Matter of Rut" outside of Garlok's lair since text mentions him "waking up" - so we made noise. Will continue to verify.

edit: noticed an error in my original post, Lampalagua says 58 hours when it's supposed to be 66. I see this thread has that too, so unless anyone has seen it at 58 (and I would love for this to be true), it should be changed to 66 as well.

Garlok downed today. (Hopefully) spawned at around 9pm ET, cloudy(not overcast) skies, dead at 1030pm ET, cloud(not overcast) on Wineport side of the map. Matter of Rut fate was at 45% at the time of Garlok's death. Did Garlok spawn at the same time as when Matter of Rut started? Not sure. Also can't say what the weather was before Cloudy but im 90% sure it wasn't showers.

B rank will now be useless outside of mark bill targets. haha, increased reward though for daily/elite so I guess not bad.

If I'm not mistaken, that's 274 seals per week without doing a single A or S rank. Not bad I guess for the extremely casuals.

Edit: counted 2 10s and 3 4s. Haven't bothered with dailies since the 2nd day of their release so not sure if its 1 10 or 2 10s.

3 4's and 2 10's yes, but that makes 224. 32x7. And the 10's still won't be worth the time due to them being fates.

I look forward to the complaints about B rank changes. Soloing them means you'll pretty much need to get there first to get them; 5 second respawn still means roaming the zone to find it again and hope you're not second place that time.

Edit: server's only been up 40 minutes and by the shouts I see from guildwork this is already happening.

Patch notes also said that the contribution required for full credit would be lowered. You could probably finish your weekly(dont forget you only need it once per week) with an aero and cure II as per usual.

Well, that was interesting. Every single A rank was up and alive when servers went up on Excalibur. Timers are a complete mystery since we don't know when they showed up in the zone, prepare to see things as early as 2h after a kill if this happened on your servers too.

na I got my weekly in about 5min of looking, its not the same for each person and they still have decent HP so its not that bad.

I have been pushing for this change to B's for a while. My suggestion was to axe them entirely and either up A's or dailies to pick up some of the shortfall. Not entirely the same, but pretty close. I just hated how it was more teleport + choco spam than actual hunting because a B was constantly popping.

This. I've run into many B's that weren't 'overcamped' and even if you do solo it, it still takes a little bit and you can get a tag on it too. I like the B Changes, personally. The Hunt LS on Leviathan is sooo mad though, it's hilarious

B's never felt like a "hunt" as most people focused on A's and S's anyways. B's were insta-pulled almost all the time and blown up in seconds. Great change

IDK, the 30 myth was basically a bray SR. For someone doing their Novus it was a huge help. I would cap myth daily when I hunted, as it stands now I'm not sure it will be possible to complete Novus as quickly. Although I am glad I took the time and got enough sand to 110 all the gear I basically needed to, because now it seems that sitting and waiting for A's and S's will be more tedious. Large gaps of time and people less focused and active will probably mean less seals gained in general.

I'm being told this is summoners' fault. Something about avatars' display priority being different than players and superseding the mob.
