Watching the butthurt and drama about early pulls is hilarious. I do kinda feel for the PS3 players though, shit is literally dying within 30 seconds of it being announced.

ragnarok is shit when it comes to hunts lol, i bet SE will increase ther HP again, since they die really fast with i130 shit w
I'm so glad to not be on a high population server. Shit still dies super fast, I can't imagine what some servers are like.
On my server, the only people that misses hunt mobs are the one that are not actively standing by and actively searching, people that sits in their houses without full ready party and praying for relays.
or if two-three pops at same times.
Found an A rank today with only 1 person nearby waiting and called it out to FC and within 5 seconds, presumably due to the first guy calling it, a wave of 100+ people on chocobos all came swarming in and immediately engaged it as they hopped off their bird. No standing around buffing. Thing died in under 15 seconds, it was a stampede like Mufasa falling in the canyon.
most ppl just use gw, dont ever have to use a ls or ts. Thats why hunts get swarmed so hard and ninja'd now. Some random can get the alert and just bomb away with some passerby's
Because I got lucky in an S rank and got a free book (as well as sitting on a ton of seals), I was able to get my item to upgrade pretty quickly. Decided to wait until the initial stampede has eased a bit as I'm sure I'll want plenty to do in a few.
I really want to just wait until hunts become better but at the same time at this rate, I'll be done with my twines this weekend. Better to be done early I guess.
Hunts are pretty crazy on Behemoth. Even with the best HuntLS and Guildwork the mobs are dying so fast its hard to always get there in time. They need to double their HP again. (if not more)
theres only 1 hunting LS at any time on my server
usually have enough swings to get gold rating here
however only 1 log drop out of 6k allied seals to show for
i dont even...
i wouldnt say i feel bad for them now
its more like SE fucked up hunt initially making sands and oil TOOOOOOOOO easy to obtain
if anything, i would say its currently better tuned, but still too casual for IL130
however, who gives a fuck to IL130 now till 3.0 anyway.....
im doing them on mules now for twines so they can do turn 13 easier on PFs..... dont really care for my main since T13 is down with pretty much IL118 before...
Yes who gives a fuck about IL130. Do you listen to yourself?
reason i did 6k seals is just for 2 twines for my 2 mule's weapon
my bad
i should word it better
it should be "who gives a fuck about average IL130" aka full IL130
Is there any way in this game to determine when a monster has popped without seeing it? Like how in FFXI you could watch the monsters dead body(through 3rd party tools) and wait for it to disappear. That would make hunting much less tedious.
FFXIV-APP has a radar plugin but it only shows as far as your character can normally see, its convenient since you can detect mobs thru terrain and without having to constantly spin the camera but that's about it.
It doesn't show mob corpses, don't know if that's just the way it was made or if the data for a mob's corpse simply isn't left behind like it was in XI.
Hunts are next to impossible to get to on my (middlingly-populated super-casual) server, unless you can get to the mob within 20 secs of it being called you're basically fucked. I want some carbontwine but I don't want it so bad as to waste my time.
You need to be already in the zone the mob spawns in and waiting to have a chance on excal. missed a bunch tonight because we weren't camping the zone it popped in.
So this happened: https://guildwork.zendesk.com/hc/en-...cles/203391449
Basically, to quell the butthurt of gw users having an advantage (just on excalibur), Stanislav has toned it down a notch.
Also random note for any ninjas scouting in agro territory: starting a teleport removes hide at the start of the cast, but accepting someone else's teleport you have on wait doesn't, you're even still hidden after zoning.
