Three hours, that's good, progress. Someone make a formula to see how long the next one will last, we can best fit based on past cease-fires.

I wonder if there are Vegas odds for fucked-up shit like that. I'm sure there are plenty of wealthy private betting groups out there that do get a kick out of world suffrage.
And manufacture the crisis to win the bet?
The Palestinians figured it was their best opportunity before the US could ship over more mortars and rockets.
Trending on twitter: Israel tines op-ed "when genocide is permissible", pulled down but the damage is definitely done. Title alone is a PR disaster lol. Archived post here
jesus that's horrific
News anchors such as those from CNN, BBC and Al-Jazeera have not missed an opportunity to point out the majority of innocent civilians who have lost their lives as a result of this war. But anyone who lives with rocket launchers installed or terror tunnels burrowed in or around the vicinity of their home cannot be considered an innocent civilian. If political leaders and military experts determine that the only way to achieve its goal of sustaining quiet is through genocide is it then permissible to achieve those responsible goals?
Nearing 1500 dead in Gaza. I think Israeli civilian deaths are up to 3 now?
You know what guys. Fuck it. They're never going to stop this fighting. Let them have their genocide, and have the land God gave them. That way guys, when nothing happens and the Apocalypse does not occur, we can send them to fuck.
Honestly I can't see any resolution to this. They've been having this argument for millennia. Someone will eventually just come back in a we'll be at this all over again.
kinda genocide guys point ^ but its not a solution due to it being 1 country VS 1 ideology they arent on equal measurements kinda hard to compare.
I hate you because you exist and my twisted view of my religion says i should kill you and anyone else who doesn't agree with me.

That friend we've all had who borrows stuff never gives it back and thinks its his just this time hes armed dangerous and has a bit of hoarder problem...
as neither a Jewish nor a Palestinian state existed for a thousand years millennia might be an exaggeration. it's silly quite silly to reduce the rule of Ottoman, Mamluk, Abbasid, Seljuq, Fatimid, Crusader, Umayyad, Byzantine, and Roman to an eternal and central conflict between Zionists and Arab nationalists when they only attained prominence following the British conquest of the region during World War 1.
that said they have been fighting the same fight for about a hundred years, but the resolution is clear, and will be affected sooner or later. there will be a two-state solution in the region, Israel is the strongest and stablest government in the region; its existence is assured. and unless they actually commit genocide (a word that is losing all meaning if Israel's limited military actions constitute it) the Palestinian people are likewise as enduring as the sun and sky. one can only hope it will be achieved sooner rather than later, but it will be achieved.
i mean Britain and France fought a 116 year war, Denmark and Sweden have gone to war against one another more than any other two nations on earth. things change, and despite this recent conflict Israel's complete withdrawal from Gaza (including settler displacement) in 2006 and the U.N.'s recognition of a Palestinian state in 2012 are encouraging steps. baby steps, with the current halting regression ending all possibility of a lasting peace for years, but steps all the same, and the trend lines are clear. it is only a matter of time and effort.
Where did Rara run off to? Did he fill out his JIDF loyalty card and run to get it embroidered on a sash?
Two more dead in West Bank protests.
probably busy killing civilians
We might need a Colbert-style whiteboard gag where it says "Number of days since the last time an Israeli columnist or apologist called for the genocide of the Palestinian people."
G-d might be meant to illustrate that voice of the people-the vox populi. In this case, G-d had demanded that Saul (or the “prime minister”) enter into battle with the Amalekites (Hamas and its savage partners) and destroy them utterly even if that means to the last child, cow and goat. As cruel as this appears, it is a lesson that teaches a nation in terrible danger that it has a legitimate obligation to put a definite end to a substantial threat. The end of such a conflict must make it impossible for that enemy to rebuild and continue to vex one’s nation forever. There must be no quarter given, no “humanitarian ” ceasefires, but a resolute combat without the words and demands of a hateful, hypocritical cabal barking like angry dogs, at our heels..But it does mean that we leave nothing that might sustain a weakened and beaten foe. To destroy Hamas utterly, we cannot stop this war until they unconditionally surrender, even if it means making the war more horrific for the people of Gaza, who are the victims of their own leadership.
Lol @ "a nation in terrible danger" and under "substantial threat". Israelis murder each other far more frequently than Hamas does.
