The Biden admin has negotiated to allow 20 of the 100+ aid trucks on the Egyptian side of the Rafah Crossing to provide aid to Gaza. Egypt is currently in the process of repairing the crossing to allow the trucks to cross safely. The earliest they will be able to cross is tomorrow. To allow more aid to reach the area, the current allotment cannot be distributed to Hamas.

Israel is exercising violence in excess of what it needs to and in doing so is acting counterproductively to their goal.

But if Israel were necessary for the liberal international order (it's not), then yes it would be an acceptable cost.

Just like how we deal with Saudi Arabia despite their fueling the civil war in Yemen which is way worse and has killed far more Arabs than this conflict.
