Israel didn't directly acknowledge killing civilians, just reiterated they told people to leave the area weeks ago. Like AG said, not outright denial so baby steps

If they carpet bombed a ton of buildings then i doubt anyone actually knows the actual # yet. 400 is probably the number of people to houses gone, 50 is probably an estimate as to how many were still there at the time but who knows

Also, "precision bombing" is marketing. The bombs are technically very precise, and don't miss their target, but if you don't really know where the target is and need to raze a city block to get them, precisely razing a city block with six bombs is only better than imprecisely aiming for the middle of the block with ten bombs because it costs less.

Even if you precisely kill someone with a bomb that blows up only the apartment they are in, you still bombed a fucking apartment building.
