The best purely hypothetical option would probably be Israel completely handing over Gaza to a UN peacekeeping force that topples Hamas and puts in a "democracy" while also handing over the West Bank to Fatah + kicking out all of the settlers.

Absolutely no chance that happens of course because the UN doesn't care about Palestine any more than Israel does. But any other option is either more apartheid or more state sponsored terrorism. None of the other Arab powers in the area are actually going to topple Hamas. A majority of them are allies.

And obviously the bleeding heart "ceasefire now" option with Israel just giving up, taking their bat and ball and going home, won't work. Hamas will just do 10/7 again and again.

tl;dr the entire situation is fucked and there is no solution because no one truly cares enough about Palestinians to actually try

A big part of it is Palestinians historically fucking it up for a bunch of other countries in the region. No country in the area wants anything to do with them outside of some of them using Palestinians as a proxy for making Israel look bad.
