TIL David Friedman has more of a day after plan than Bibi.
Imo the two viable final status options are:
1) One state where a big Israel becomes a theocracy where non-jews are formally second class citizens.
2) Two states with decades of capacity building on the Palestinian side.
Sadly, the path to the theocratic one state solution is way simpler and more likely to be successful.
Two state solution is dead.
Israel can either give all the stolen land back and fuck off or they can continue ad nauseam with dwindling international support. Which is basically your #1.
That is even to say that either side's power players actually want peace, which they don't.
Hamas doesn't want peace, they're living large with tons of popular support in the court of public opinion and growing coffers from the Russia Iran pipeline every day.
That's why they always say "We don't want to kill all the Jews, we just want Israel to declare defeat, give us the whole country, and go back to Europe forever" because they know it's a non starter. It's also the position of a ton on the anti-colonialist left, so they will always have a big bloc of support there.
Israel doesn't want peace either, they orchestrated and perpetuated this whole conflict with Hamas intentionally to keep themselves in power and gradually move the country further and further right.
One political problem for pro-democracy Israelis is their rapidly growing ultra-orthodox population. They are having kids at about twice the national rate.
I don't want to go too far out on a limb here, but if your religion has ultra-orthodox as a qualifier then you probably aren't big on compromise and nuance, and likely would be cool with a theocratic state.
Fuck Israel, fuck Bibi, etc etc but this rhetoric from an American official kinda makes me uncomfortable

Hilarious that Destiny is fucking invited to anything like this, dude just quotes random Wikipedia points
destiny is my one friends only news source. he recently finished his white coat ceremony and will be a doctor soon.
Him and Hasan are probably hundreds of thousands of peoples only news source.
Of course, that goes both ways, in the millions.
I like Hasan on a lot of stuff but yeah devoting yourself to a single news source, especially a Twitch streamer is meh. At least Hasan will constantly deride himself as a himbo and not to be taken as the end all be all of information and thank god he's not a debate bro. Vaush, Destiny, Shapiro and all the debate bros annoy the shit out of me.

Doesn't the US have veto power? Abstaining was probably the best move.

us, france, uk, china, and russia all have immediate veto power, which is also why nothing gets done
It looks like this UN resolution finally includes the part about only if Hamas releases the hostages, which I'm sure they'll get right on.
I'm sure Israel will fist bump them and say "we're cool" the instant they do and stop the genocide.
