    Looking for an old movie, please help!

    Hey everyone!

    Was talking with a few friends of mine about movies, and i remembered a good one but cant think of a name, or even actors. Any help is appreciated.

    So what i remember is:

    A guy meets a woman and falls in love with her. then he dies because he gets hit by a car? anyway, he dies and lands in heaven. But because he just met that woman he wants to go back to earth as fast as possible. one of the angels gives him a new body, but because the guy was in such a rush, the angel forgets to delete his memories of his old life. so back on earth that guy still has his memories and tries to find that woman again.

    i hope some people know what movie this is. its from the 90's i'd say

    Down To Earth sounds similar, from 2001. If it's not the right one, it's ripping off the one you're looking for.

    sounds like that shitty nicolage cage movie with meg ryan in it. it also had that shitty goo-goo dolls song in it

    I went through a RDJ phase when I was younger and loved this film. Haven't watched it in years though, may not have stood the test of time.

    Closest one to the one i am looking for is Down to Earth. But it wasnt a black actor, and it wasnt a "funny" movie. Shit if only i could remember some more details

    Heaven Can Wait is from '78 (according to wiki it and Down to Earth are adapted from the same play)

    Just go on there and grab the movie name that maybe sounds like it, or go through them all and drop it in IMDB see if it's the one. Some of the movies already mentioned here are on there.
