I still have 100k for last gil dungeons lol

I started on Sunday so I missed the first gil dungeon. Doesn't matter, though, already have all my abilities (and then some) made from doing just the easy one and the first 2 stages of the normal. Just need the rest of the gil for weapon/armor upgrades.

Not sure if I want to make a second Jump for Kain or just keep Jump and Blade Bash on him for para weak bosses.

So you can combine an upgraded 1* equipment and turn it into a 2** ?

I tried combining a 3/3 item, but only managed to increase its upgrade slots from 3 to 5. I guess you combine it further once you get it to 5/5?

Yeah, when you upgrade it again it will go to 5 or 6 out of 10 depending on if you use a fully upgraded item as a second material.

I wasn't able to do the "Easy" Gil event for more Mythril it said collected already. That's the only one I did last week (was too low to complete normal).

I wouldn't have thought so. PAD did the same thing, you clear it once and get the Mythril/Gem and that's the end of it.

Anyone figure out what the gauge at the bottom of the screen when you're upgrading a piece of equipment does?

I'm just glad p2w in this game is for relics and not characters. I'd actually be tempted to spend money if it was characters.

Some of the equipment upgrades confuse me. How is a maxed 4-star spear outclassed in damage by a maxed 3-star knife?

Also I've had shitty luck for Relic pulls. Lots of 3 star pulls. Only one 5 star pull ever and it wasn't Genji Armor or Buster Sword.

I've had shitty luck with drops. I end up with a lot of singles of things and being unable to combine them. Only things I got a bunch of were Longbows, Kunai, and XII axes. Sold most of them.

I'm thinking it's just a visual indication of how much the item is leveling up. But that's just from observation, could be wrong.

That does indeed seem to be the case. It just skips when you tap so I kept trying to stop it on the high end of the meter.

Makes me feel better, actually.

EDIT: Gil Grasslands Hard wrecks my shit. Can get through the first stage and make some gil, but half my guys are dead. Not sure if I should just continue doing Normal mode completely through for ~20k or do Hard stage 1 over and over and hope I don't die for 15-20k.

Couple people on Reddit reporting that they are indeed collecting Mythril a second time from the Gil Grasslands despite having done them on Saturday. Can anyone confirm? I did them new this morning so I can't. It doesn't seem right to me because that ruins their ability to make money if you can repeat the same dungeons for Mythril.

That's what I'm doing. I just finished upgrading all my weapons to cap from my stock of Scarletite. Going to keep running Gil so I can do the same with Adamantite (Armor) before running the Shinra dungeon I think. Do more Shinra tomorrow, Armor on Friday, finish Shinra and do more Gil Saturday, level Tifa and Seph on Sunday in the EXP dungeon.

EDIT: Thunder Strike will count as whatever weapon uses it. Can be used with ranged weapons or melee and be counted accordingly. I.E. use it on the floor 60 and 65 bosses with Tyro/Wakka and a ranged weapon.

It inherits the range from your weapon. If you can't hit it normally, you can't Thunder Strike it either. So anybody with a ranged weapon will do the trick.
