Lol so my team getting rekt by regular mobs in Floating continent. Not sure 33 Lenna and 37 Locke are gonna cut it >_< Gonna bring in Aeris but ima miss Lenna's SB.

Unfortunately I only found out about this with not a ton of time to take advantage of it but farming Ghasts from Vanille HM Stage 1 is REALLY good for 2* and 3* power orbs. Nothing beats it stamina efficiency wise for farming those particular orbs that everyone needs more of until it's gone later tonight.

Is it better than the daily? The daily will drop power orbs 1/3rd of the time, so it's 10 stamina for 2 (6 * 1/3) mobs vs 12 stamina for 2 mobs in this event. It's very close for sure, but resetting for ghasts seems like a real chore (I don't have recordpeeker).

EDIT: Are you talking about Heroic or Hard mode? Because I can see that it'd be better on Hard mode (8 stamina).

How much stamina is that? Cuz Wind shrine elite is 14 stamina and i get averge 2-5 Power orbs 2* per run (only repeat stage 1)

But you'll only get Lesser and not regular Power Orbs? In this case you'd have the opportunity for both.

Oops sorry, didn't realize HM could mean heroic too. It's hard mode. Ghasts are really common for the first fight so it's not much of a chore.

My luck wasn't great with Wind Shrine; lot of 0, 1s and 2s so this has been better for me by far. So far, the ghasts have ALWAYS dropped something and most of the time it's an orb.

I tried two runs, and both gave me one lesser and one item drop. That's still inferior to the daily for me, since you get lots of other orbs from the daily, including lesser blacks.

That being said, if you ever farm for lesser powers outside of the daily, this is definitely one of the best places to do it.

Basically yeah, I'm averaging ~6 stam per orb and I've still got like 80 lesser blacks compared to single digit powers so it's great for where I am.

Managed to draw Locke's weapon about an hour ago and I don't even have him unlocked yet, lulz. To the Hero it goes.

So fucking need gil to upgrade things now. Things NPCing for 250 isn't cutting it.

Like 3/8 on FF5 items, and now 2/5 on FF9 lol. Just got some random dumb ff9 5 star sword nothing special about it as far as i can tell... lame

Also my Rydia can't take the heat. Gonna have to level Terra and throw her in there for synergy and better armor.
