On an unrelated note, I'm so tired of never feeling like I have time to farm orbs or anything else. Always an event or new dungeons, or elites, or quests now. I will never get caught up. It's so frustrating.

Also, I've spent 20 mithril on Tidus banner (Want brotherhood) and got 4 3 stars. Just doesn't seem worth it sadly

Entirely up to you. Cloud is one of the best as far as ability variety and stats, but Tidus is a good support/debuff character. I personally like his standard SB (Delay Attack) though. There are so many straight damage SBs I think having the Slow debuff thrown in is nice.

I'd say it depends on what you have now; I tossed 5 myth at it just to see, but I'm waiting for Tidus' 2nd relic that comes on a banner with Lightning's, Quistis, and Selphie's weapons. That way you have a better shot at character specific weapons and his 2nd Soul Break is better for single targets, but not terrible on AoE either (and it can break the 9999 damage barrier in total)
