Airship took me two tries because the first time, I lost 3 medals on the trash stage because I just meleed everything to death, while trying to save abilities.

Wised up and brought Quake for the trash my next try (for any stages with 3 mobs).

From what I noticed, nine or less actions on 9-medal stages result in no medals lost (for actions).

Thanks guys. Easily mastered Red Dragon with VIT0 shit. Haven't mastered the 3 dungeons before it so I might try it for those also Although I don't think I can hit all the bosses on Airship with it lol

I retaliated through 1st stage, 2nd stage I did vit0 on typhoon and whittled ultros down with retaliate. Lost 3 medals (2 damage 1 actions)

Last dude I killed the left arm with my final retaliate, using sentinels grimoire to stay alive. For some reason a bit did not spawn when it died, either it's not supposed to on the left, or maybe death by counter attack (might have been 2nd hit of a double cut?) doesn't trigger it.

Proceeded to vit0 the main guy and pummeled him down. Lost one medal on damage.

It feels a bit cheap, but it was still a very close and exciting battle.

Do you really need locke to get the mastery reward from red dragon stage? I wanna try that trick but I don't have locke past lvl 1.

You can lose max 5-6 medals in all of those 3 stages and just not having Locke you loose 3

Just toss some eggs and get Locke to 30ish. Should be okay if you reset anytime he dies from fodder if you are gonna VIT0 it.

If you reset a boss after you use a summon friend charge, can you reuse it?

Yeah. I did several times when I was trying to beat Red Dragon normally.

I was taking too much damage, due to Lenna wasting 2 turns casting protect. By the time it was setup too many people would be either near death or dead, and there was no way Lenna could keep everyone alive through the endless assault of aoe's.

Focusing down the left arm (which does the most aoe's) meant Lenna could focus on curing, until that piece of shit was down.

Also, with deprotectga and multiple targets, you can't really force retaliate to hit the main boss. (Not that you really need it once VIT0 is up...)

In hindsight, I think I'll just put protect on both Lenna and Tyro going forward, so I can set it up in 1 turn, rather than 2. (Tyro had fire and blizzard spells to trigger weaknesses on the first fight, curaga and a strike on cloud probably would have helped more, at the very least.)

I'm retarded. I've been wasting stamina all day redoing Red Dragon, I don't know why I didn't try the VIT0 shit to start. I kept dropping off at 100-130k damage. The VIT0 shit should work with any boss, right?

I wouldnt bother pulling any relics until Cloud's event.
This banner has the 2nd worse rates and drops since the release of the game lol.

Got a 5 star Monk's Robe with the current banner from a 3x pull. Mainly did it just to get the relic draw quest done too.

3 star helmet on the new banner (JP has a discount, 100 gems for a pull, available once per banner, after conversion it's like 80 cents so I've been using my Google play credits) that had the old ff9 relics

I don't know if I'm just lucky, or jp button, but these rates are fucking ridiculous.

I'm easily getting like at least a 33% 5 star rate, pulling one at a time.

The drop rate is 12%,so it's only slightly higher. I read that apparently the jp version also has a system built in where your chances at 5 stars go up every pull until you get one. No idea if that's true or not.

But I'm so going to be hoarding my mythril now, lol. None of any of these relics coming up are really that worthwhile anyway.

This update added sort by material. When you go to upgrade, change your sort. Materials will be at the top. Enjoy!

The "gold" part makes me think it might be related to the golden week event JP had, but it's only 3 days, and there's no picture of orbs, so... I don't think it's that.

Would suck if it was and we only got 3 days of it <_<
