You're most likely going to have to spend quite a decent amount of time S/Ling, it's just the way it is.
Setup:
Cloud (Buster Sword, Gold Bangle) - Fira Strike R2, Double Cut R3
Terra (Enhancer, Genji Helm) - Firaga R3, Quake R2
Tidus (Fencing Saber++, Gold Bangle) - Double Cut R3, Armor Break R3
Wakka (Danjuro, Crusader Cuirass++) - Boost R4, Intimidate R2
Lenna (Light Staff, Crusader's Mask++) - Protectga R1, Curaga R5
Friend Summon - Sentinel Grimoire
Wakka was front row with Danjuro and the only reason I did that was because his next best weapon was shit. You'll be doing some regular attacks a decent amount of time on these fights so remember that in general you only want to be using melee abilities when Boost is up.
Basics:
Fight 1: Offensively, use at least 1 of each ability, but not more than 2 (I'd double up on Fira Strike/Firaga obviously). Use Intimidate at least once; I used it twice (Intimidate > Boost > Boost > Intimidate for Wakka's actions.) Do NOT use Protectga; I stupidly did even though I took 600 damage total and I paid for it on fight #3 because ethers didn't recharge Lenna's Protectga; only her curagas. If you lose ANY medals, leave dungeon and come back, you won't master it otherwise.
Fight 2: Protectga at the start, use a Quake and finish off 2 of the adds with melee. I only used 1 intimidate on this boss, but you can afford to use 2 if you got a recharge from ether; I'd save 2 charges for fight #3 though.)
Fight 3: Protectga at the start, Quake + Wakka's Soul Break took all the adds within 1 melee swing of dying from Tidus. Cloud didn't have the attack to kill them without using an ability and since I had no protectga charge, I was forced to use Fira Strike to prevent that add from getting another attack round. I also only had 1 intimidate charge that I needed to use to recover from the onslaught at the start; 2+ would make it a lot easier at this point. Remember that you should be using all your best abilities on the chars that are about to level up at this point; this is the point you really want to conserve the abilities of the non leveling chars.
Fight 4: Protectga at the start, Quake 1 or 2 times depending on what your situation is; feel very free to use abilities of your chars that just leveled up, even every turn. Once arms die, do 1 fire based attack (couple regular attacks are fine too) then have someone start summoning Sentinel Grimoire. You'll want to use up all of your fire abilities on this fight (I wouldn't use Fira Strike unless Boost is up though just to be efficient.) Barrage still hits for ~400 to each person with Sentinel Grimoire and Protectga up. You can use as many intimidates as you want here too.
Fight 5: Protectga at the start, kill arms (Use AoE abilities first if you have them) then pound the body. Use Sentinel Grimoire whenever you feel like you need the extra safety net. This fight probably doesn't even need Sentinel Grimoire, but I could get through the other fights without using it so I had it available.
If you timed level up another char (or 2) besides the 3 I used, the gear difference will be *almost* irrelevant because it'll allow you to use more abilities overall.
Lost 3 medals each on S2-4, 2 on S5, and none on S1. It's honestly not *that* bad, but I spent like 45 minutes S/Ling fight 3 because of the situation I put myself in.
