I'd say most are sub 1.3k HP with the dino fossil being the beefiest with maybe 1.8k or so. He's also the biggest threat with Sandstorm, so focus him first. Next threat down the list is the skinny dragon type things. They just plain hit hard. Oh, forgot about the lone Aspid mob or whatever. Kinda tanky, but not much of a threat outside of single hits. Good gold, though, and it's dropped eggs for me before. So maybe hope for those if you do Heroics.

I was lower level than you when I did golden week heroic, which was much harder than this. (like 2.5 to 3.5k hp)

Garnet's weapon is pretty bad. Ramuh summon similar to Rydia's Shiva. Garnet hasn't gotten a 2nd weapon afaik yet in JP, so she's overall, sadly, kinda shitty. :/ (Most other white mages have gotten some kind of aoe cure soul break.)

Vivi is a pretty awesome blm. Highest INT, although suffers in defensive stats and hp. Also only has BLM5. Although with a pure nuker, you don't really need other abilities. This weapon is decent, as it has the highest magic attack for a long time to come, although not by THAT much. (Lulu, also recently released in JP, is the only comparable blm in power. Same int, different defensive stats, black magic 5.)

Double bio is, eh, if what you're fighting isn't immune to poison damage, it'll do good damage, but it's single target, and has potential to hit different targets iirc.

Vivi just recently got a new weapon in JP, overall just slightly stronger than this one, but double meteor is oh so much more epic than fucking bio.

If I could do a 0.99c pull, I'd gladly do it to try and get Vivi's weapon, but I ain't spending my Organics mythril on this crap. Hopefully I can get that with some mythril left over, because it'll definitely be going into the FF9 vivi + eiko 2.0 banner :D

In the JP version, characters can learn SBs right? If so, does this carry over to the universal SB equipment?

Sure wish the optimizer could tell that a soul break had already been learned so that it would lose its hardon for soul break equipment.

edit: Also, doing the fight for SMN MC right now, god fucking damn this thing is difficult. Elite version of the Seymour fight at Macalania temple. Already used a mythril to reset, since I was going in with barely any abilities remaining, and I just barely beat the Anima portion of the fight... only to have to fight Seymour one last time. Siiiiigh. Might have to use another one. So much for one final roll for vivi

Still have a lot of sub 50s so not in a hurry to unlock Garnet. Got Vivi though and will be abusing Gold Rush for as long as I can keep going for. Love that event.
