6 double cut
8 firaga 4 firaja(or should i use 8 blizzaga)
6 fira strike 6 blizzara strike
curaga 12 esuna

no synergy weapons except the rod and mage armor they gave

do-able w/o mythril? or hone more before event end? im kinda honing it up before sunday for tidus boss challenge w/o mythril too

spending 1-2 mythril for a 5 star orb seem off balance for me.... even if it means i win w/o mastery, as long i dont use mythril, im fine

Tidus Lv 65 : Zantetsuken (VI) 20/20 Genji Shield (IV) 25/25 Durable Power Wrist (XIII) Double cut 3/5, Power Break 2/5
Sephiroth Lv 50 : Mythril Dagger (IX) 15/15 : Diamond Armor (VI) + 20/20 Hyper Wrist (VI) Double cut 3/5 Magic Break 2/5
Vivi lv 55 : Stardust Rod (IX) + 15/15, Magician's Robe (IX)+ 15/15, Magic Armet IX Firaga 4/5, Blizzaga 3/5 and Rod Master Record Materia
Garnet lv 55 : Judgement Staff (V) 20/20 Royal Crown (VI) + 20/20, Angel Ring (V) Curaga 5/5 and Blinda 3/5 and the lolregen Record Materia.

Took Tyro's Sentinel Grimoire Friend summon

Here is what I did

Fight #1
DPS did Power + Armor break on Steiner and used double cut until 4 charges left, then I just AA
Garnet Heal if necessary then defend
Vivi 2 Blizzaga on Bomb + 1 on Steiner

Lost 2 medals (1 action 1 damage taken)


Fight #2 I S/l until Garnet got Caged
Cloud used 2x Fira Strike
Vivi 2x Firaga
DPS 1 power 1 armor break then AA

Fight #3
Garnet Blindna Cloud ASAP then either Blinda Sephiroth or Curaga
Vivi Firaga X2
Cloud Fira Stike X2
Tidus AA
Sephiroth AA (but would miss)

Fight #4
Garmet : Blindna Sephiroth ASAP then heals or blindna Tidus (depending which was more important)
Sephiorth Magic Break Both Bosses
Vivi : Blizzaga Black Waltz then Firaga Sealion
Cloud did 1 Fira stike on Black waltz and AA it till it died then Fira strike Sealion to death
Tidus Summoned Tyro then AA or Double Cut (if he got blindna)

Fight #5
Cloud Armor Break boss then spammed SB + Armor break (had no fira strikes left)
Tidus Power Break then Double Cuts
Sephiroth Double cuts and magic break (fot dmg)
Vivi had like 4-5 Firaga left so that helped
Garnet Summon Tyro then SB then cures if needed

Medals lost

2 on First fight
1 on 2nd fight
0 on 3rd fight
1 on 4 fight
0 on last fight

2nd and 4th fight were dmg taken medals that I lost

Whoever said rez now doesn't count for ko medals is full of shit. Just no mastered black waltz elite because cloud died and I rezzed with Phoenix but still lost those medals for somebody dying.

I've revived someone with Phoenix and I didnt lose a medal. Maybe they fucked up the coding for the new dungeons?

You shouldn't need any Mythril. Go with either Blizzara Strike OR Blizzaga you don't need both and it's only useful on the bomb that comes with Steiner. Completely useless after that. S/L may be required on the cage boss, I've heard it can glitch up. Bring Tyro with Sentinel's Grimoire as a friend summon if you're not using VIT0... Black Waltz #1 and Sealion hit like trucks even with Magic Break.

yea i tried with lesser honed on tidus event boss chain when it came out and failed miserably, like out of abi after 2-3rd boss

So this garnet event kinda gave me chills but the way i see it, seem alot easier :O

Tidus EX stage bosses have a lot more health and no real weaknesses. Also tons of adds.

Boss rush have alot of RNG factor in it (aka the ether needs to restore the good ability

Just force level ups for a couple of chars and there isn't any RNG. I literally didn't lose a single medal on all 5 fights... this one's too easy compared to Tidus.

How much HP does Mimic have on master difficulty? Was trying to get Garnet's lvl break crystal and just got munched. I know he's weak against holy, does that mean cure's would work on him?
