Just force level ups after fight 3 and you'll be fine.

No, you look up how much EXP you'll earn per person for fight 1-3, factoring in medals and the extra 50% bonus if it's Tidus or Wakka and egg yourself to an amount with the tnl so that you'll level up after the 3rd fight. I think I already said how much exp you needed to egg to in an earlier post I made for Tidus' event so you could look for that if you wanted to do less work. I usually look it up on http://ffrk.kongbakpao.com/ and math it out.

Wouldn't call that unreasonable if abilities had 10 uses, but most shit starting at 2 with even 1 honing being costly on 3s stuff just makes me wanna facepalm. So I guess the question is if SE is balancing some of this shit relative to the whales out there.

Came in with full abilities charges on everything and she just eats everything and I can't even tell how much I did due to no HP bar. Her attacks don't even hit hard with protect or sentinel grimoire but I guess you need a lot of maxed abilities or 5 star gears.

It's supposed to take time to hone them up or else it'd be too easy. They've done a good job with progression, however catching up if you haven't been playing as long can be a bit challenging. You'll eventually get there though and Jenova is around forever so there isn't really any rush.

bleh. not going to make boss rush. Have had to reset 8 times now trying to get intimidate to land on chocobo eater. Event is going to end in 29 mins. No way I'll finish. May just say fuck it now and spend the rest of my stamina on something else instead of spending it all to get to the next to last fight or something

We might see an event announcement in a few minutes and obviously with that comes a new banner. Probably nothing to write home about banner-wise though, since it's probably Cloud or Squall's event next unless they skip more events again.
