It's supposed to take time to hone them up or else it'd be too easy. They've done a good job with progression, however catching up if you haven't been playing as long can be a bit challenging. You'll eventually get there though and Jenova is around forever so there isn't really any rush.

Only a few weeks in, so yeah, catching up is kind of a bitch there. I'm feeling like the orb events should have their rewards bumped back a tier with lessers subsequently being more numerous in early tier dungeons. I was able to do the Heroics for EXP and Ice/NE with Cloud/Retaliate because the mobs involved aren't too bad. I'm kind of dreading the other ones where you'd see some AoE happy critters, though. Sent helps, sure, but its cast time fucking blows. Either way, it's kind of annoying to do a dungeon that advertises specific orbs only for them to effectively be the rare drop. These elites with bonkers HP aren't going to be whittled down by 2-3kish -ra nukes. I'm also having a bit of a rough time embracing melees who can't spellblade simply because even with Boost, mobs start getting too defensive to expect more than 3k a round.

Yeah, I look to part of this as the 2 ability limit kicking us in the nuts. And if things were tweaked as per above, I wouldn't be against mobs getting tuned upward slightly in an attempt to preserve a bit of difficulty. I just did the FF7 fight with the anti-melee boss and I'm dreading the thought of it in elite simply because Cloud is taken out of the picture. My other characters being Tidus, Tyro, Garnet, and Vivi. Rest is just the hum drum of waiting on stamina. Fuck, the grind wouldn't bug me if that weren't such a key factor.

His 3rd relic is though so if you're patiently waiting for one of the two big weapons (Squall's and Cloud's), those are the ones to wait for!

If you can hold out for his 3rd relic... it's amazing. 4 ranged hits of 2.0 multiplier plus the 10 attack mastery bonus.

Nearly forgot to do the FFX Boss rush, cleared it pretty easily with a single mythril used to recharge near the end and only a handful of S/Ls. I've been wasting my stamina on dailies and doing the dungeon quests before I burn through the new dungeons. Feels like I've wasted a bunch of time though. O_o

i did this and sorted by character. but i didn't add descriptions for japanese ones cos.. its not official and is a bitch to edit when that gets in. still its kinda useful cos you get to see who has more soul breaks and the weapon to look out for.. i guess.

I'd say squalls 2nd relic is worth rolling, if you really like him and definitely want to use him.

Multi hit followed by a strong aoe. Definitely worth at least having it learned so you can use it for trash clearing if need be.

whats the best way to farm mythril? I mean, i know there's clearing/mastering dungeons and elite dungeons for the first time, but other than that i noticed doing exp dungeon a second weak that they were still mastered, so no more mythril from them. are there other ways of obtaining mythril besides just the one time clears and the event banners? ;-;

You can't "farm" mythrils

They are just rewards are quests/first times.

After all they can't give us too much or people won't buy gems

once you have a solid party to farm events with, and if u don't, a strategy/exploit that allows you to clear content, you don't really need to spend the mythril for weapons unless you really want something, cos most of them will toss you a bone with 2*s that can be upgraded for decent realm synergy gear. if you have native 5*s those are great too. I've personally come to a point where i'm just waiting to unload mythrils on something good.. can also afford to spend a couple to recover in between boss battles in boss runs

This. Once you burn mythril on 4-5 11 pulls you'll have enough of a selection of 4* and 5* gear to clear pretty much anything.

Right now for me abilities are way more important. I burned a mithril on the tidus boss rush which was way more cost effective than blowing 5 just to get another shitty 3*. I'm just saving up my mithril now for my personal favorite characters since it doesn't matter a whole lot with friend summon.

Yes, that was the same as all realms. This was just the first time we got IX and XII dungeons.

Okay, I didn't know because I haven't done those quests yet besides the ones it forced me to for unlocking IX and XII. Thats good then, I just have all the elite quests left.
