Get Rydia bard and rng RM1

then go to fabul classic with all 3 (cost 1 stamina)

iirc It's 60% of total damage so 40% less. And yes it is.

My dudes (Tyro, Vivi, Garnet, Cloud, Seph) are low to mid 40s now so I'm probably too low for the conversation, but what does RM1/RM2 mean and how do you get them?

Balthier has auto haste rm, and he also has thief 4, or will when these abilities are out, which is an amazing skill set.

He can make a decent ranged thief substitute, but I don't think his soul break is that decent, so kinda all around eh.

When you get to level 50 and get a memory crystal to break a characters level cap, they automatically get a Record Materia. It gives a special bonus, different per person (example being Cloud's RM1 gives bonus to damage if using sword). That first one is RM1. Everyone has different conditions for acquiring their RM2. Some are randomly found, while others require specific fights. Once people get past level 50 and unlock their RM slot all the RMs can be freely swapped between characters. But each character can only have one equipped at a time.

RM is Record Materia. It's extra skills you get for a character once they break the level 50 cap with their Memory Crystals. There are currently two ranks of Record Materia for certain characters. They are obtained from various methods, certain missions completed, randomly in battle, etc. They can be set to other people who have broken 50 cap as well, they are not exclusive to that character.

Currently Seph, Cloud, Wakka, Tidus, Garnet, Vivi, WHM, BLM, RNG, BRD, Rydia, Kain can break level 50. I believe most of them have RM2 as well. Garnet and Seph do not as far as I know.

So I'm going for Squalls memory crystal before the event ends, strat is basically reset until Intimidate sticks on first cast, blast with breaks and ice stuff, try to stick dark buster and recast Intimidate on round 3? Doable in mid-40s or no? Am I missing anything?

It's rough but I did it with people between 48-50. If you can bring someone who has Sephiroth up with one winged angel for blind, that will help as well.

Man insane damage coming in from Jenova in Seph elite version. I don't know how you can do this without Vit0. And even then its so much damage.

Slowga made it fairly simple with vit 0
