Hard event was dropping 5 or 6 lessor orbs per level for me. I just don't really care bout these orbs. I need dark, black, power.

If you don't have Lesser Ice Orbs for Blizzara/Fira and Blizzard/Fire Strike yet I'd suggest to continue running it. Even if you do, can grab enough to Hone them. Plus you need Wind for Double Cut which Sephiroth and Cloud should have.

Ok, I'm still around 15, but haven't been doing much other than a single daily a day, then a few dungeons on-stream on Sundays (though I've been working on Shinra tower last night and got Tifa, rather sure I can't complete the climb in time to get Sephy)

I've been using Wakka and Tidus on Hard even thought they're only about 26/27. They effectively gain 10 levels, if I remember correctly, so they are better than Sephiroth or Tifa. I can't Auto it and only get Expert though, and need to use a few abilities on the fire breathing dog things to make sure they don't hit for 1k+ or do their AoE breath before I can take them down.

Cant beat the hard daily today but I am able to do 2 of the stages. I might just spam those for lesser wind orbs.

Some of the mobs do way too much damage for me to go the whole way. Game needs protega. Literally died on the last mob this time >_< Gonna try to switch one of my DPS for Tyro and see if I can heal my way through.

I still can't clear any of the hard mode daily dungeons and my team is high 20s to 31. WTF am I doing wrong? Even my character with 16/20 Genji Armor is getting hit for over 1k from the trash.

Yeah they hit me that hard too with my maxed Genji armor.

If you can't get Master on all the levels it's better to just do the first then retreat so you have a fresh party every time and can blow all your abilities. Even after you can Master it, may be better to do that to be safe. The completion reward is only 2.5k.

Monday's dungeon seems to be the hardest of all the dailies. Seed Canon does 1k easily, Breath does ~500 to the entire team, and Lunge inflicts slow, which can make the rest of the stage a huge drag.

Black Magic on Sephiroth is such a huge waste. A Blizzara on a vulnerable monster did ~400 damage, when his melee attacks were doing over 500. And that was with a dagger that added +Magic. So it's pretty useless right now outside of mastery points and ranged only bosses. Maybe it'll see some use when more spells come out.
