Ah, cool.
Ah, cool.
Retaliate doesn't carry over in the sense that if you kill a mob on the first strike of a double cut, when you go to the next set of mobs you will get your second strike. If you save/reload you lose it.
I see people talk about retaliate a lot, how does it work? Also why do people love double cut so much? I feel like the level 3 elemental attacks do more damage?
Cloud can do some dmg with double cut.![]()
Basically you can put everyone in the back row but your double cut person, minimizing damage. Have someone boost him and retaliate. Then if you have 2-3 people with double cut they all attack your retaliate person and everyone gets teh boosted damage since your retaliate person is the one attacking. Then gives your whm a way to dmg as well if they're dedicated to healing/buff/debuff and have no offensive magiks.
Also lets you reserve your blm's abilities for the boss (if the dungeon has one)
More than with Fira strike on a normal enemy?
Eerropinions please.
Oh, so you have your mages attack a dude with retaliate, and he then attacks the enemy. Gotcha.
And when you do it with VIT 0, then double cuts for days 9999 x2
I need to get used to posting on a smartphone; ;
Wat iz VIT0 lul
(i don't actually know)
0 vitality... Right?
Well sure I guess, but is that an ability that you inflict on an enemy? From someone's soul break?
Retaliate basically takes any physical attack done to the user and he counters it and unleashes it on an enemy.
So if you retaliate with Cloud and attack him with Aerith, Cloud will counter onto an enemy.
Basically retaliate with your strongest character and have everyone else attack him to get full damage from each attack. If you have double cut (attack twice) on a character, and attack retaliated Cloud. He will attack an enemy twice.
Vit 0 is a "glitch" I guess or an exploit.
Vanille's soul break (with weapon) lower's enemy's defense. If you protect on them, then use her deprotega, then protect them again, they have next to nothing defense (hence 0 vitality) and anyone w/ a decent weapon will hit for 9999 on their physical attacks
How the fuck do you know all this shit lol
