so theres gonna be an FFXIV collaboration event later this month in Japan.. i wonder if they'll finally introduce XIV characters or dungeons? (and eventually XI)

edit: according to a JP report, the upcoming events/characters are:
FFV (Faris)
FFX (Rikku)
FFXIV collab event - they wont say who
FFIV Rosa and Edge
FFXIII Fang
FFVII Yuffie
and FFIX Beatrix

I'd bet it's Y'shtola since she's the representative in Dissidia as well.

as for Beatrix, it seems they're going the "antagonist" route.. having released Golbez before Rosa and Edge, Sephiroth and Reno before Yuffie and Vincent.. and soon Beatrix before.. Quina lol. and not to mention Gilgamesh too. I hope they add Edea too lol.

Supposedly, lost number form depends on the damage type done that triggers the transform only. Damage done throughout the fight doesn't matter.

You can poison it to death, if you stop attacking he won't transform.

Man, doing FF7 event on both JP and NA is weird lol.

Just did JP rush. Was a lot easier, since only 3 fights (no materia keeper). Jenova (death) was a bitch, though. Kept one shotting Rinoa every damn time before I even got a move off. This one didn't have 200k hp though so I was able to dispatch it pretty quickly. All 3 fights required Sephiroth alive, who is level 1, so I wasn't going to master anyway.

EX+ fight was also pretty easy. Seph MC2 get! Gonna try Ex++ later today.

Bonus Quests were added this update, yes. No idea if they're limited time, but I'd suggest doing them.

They're not time limited. We'll be getting a handful pretty much almost every update and event from now on.

Also, I haven't seen a source so I don't know if it's true, but supposedly one if the QoL updates increases 5 star drop rate with every unsuccessful pull.

No idea if true or not, but honestly, my luck with pulls in JP has been too good to be true, so I buy it. (I have a feeling this bonus doesn't apply to multi pulls, every time I do a 11 pull I never get more than 3, usually 1 or 2. Single pull 10 easily gives me 3 or 4 almost always lol)

But if it's true, then any mythril used now is truly wasted, unless you really need the gear to clear content.

Even if the above isn't true, the rate will increase to 12 soon, and those soul break events put 4 to 6 characters in a single banner. (usually a better chance at a character relic as opposed to random 5 star crap)
