If it was the same event, everything would be similar, not just the fights. And you probably would carry over the previous clears as well.

There's new rewards and an elite version of the fights. Boss rush as well.

Optimize is the fucking worst. Keeps giving my mage masher and front-rowing my 30s level Rydia and a worse dagger to my 50s Sephiroth.

Yeah I haven't used Optimize since this game first came out. Useless.

Optimize hasn't done anything like that for me, but it does always want to give someone a protectga limit break.

Because mage masher has a limit break (my only weapon that does), it prioritizes it over everything. It's really annoying.

Does it always hit a single opponent? Rinoa's Valkyrie is more hits I believe, but its a random target. If there's only one enemy it has more potential and is also Lightning so more mobs that are weak to it.

No, it's random, but obviously if there's only one target available like most bosses that's who it will hit. Just seems to do like 8k per hit, 16k total. I haven't seen Valkyrie in action though.

Edit: Oh, Angel Wing Bolt. Never seen it do much damage, but I'm sure it can to lightning weak mobs, it's 3 hits.

There's also the 10 hit gun. It does less damage generally, but with boost, armor break, and synergy I'd bet it's fairly strong.

Yeah Optimize for me keeps putting Vivi in the front row with a dagger =/ Still gets a lot of other stuff right, so saves time over starting from scratch I guess.

Those are great tips, thanks! Although it still values Mage Masher over my spear that has 12 more attack, but at least I should be able to solve the Rydia problem.

Vivi's SB is x3 twice, but it's non-elemental, so that's how much it will always do.

Rinoa's SB is x1.9 thrice, but with weakness, it'll be x3.8 thrice.

PLD Cecil's new SB is going to be pretty strong as well, as far as multi-hit goes. Irvine's relic SB is x0.5 ten times.

So is it worth to pull or wait for another banner for someone who doesn't have a lot of 4-5 * armors but a decent number of weapons ?
