edit: how effective is blade blitz? I have enough to make it and I think hone it once. Just worried that since it's a multi attack it'll be weak

It's decent, but how hard it is to upgrade it and the general rarity of fights with more than 3 mobs can make it a tough sell. Especially if you can still one-shot things with Boost+Retailiate.

If we ever get a materia that refreshes physical abilities, though...

There's going to be two more blade blitz like attacks. (at least, probably more in future, but this is what's in JP now)

One is dark elemental, and is slightly stronger. Same ability type.

The other is ice elemental, same strength, also blinds, but is level 4 samurai.

I don't know. It's certainly stronger and it being a higher tier spell makes sense this way. It would be comparable damage to -ja spells, but AoE. I guess it balances out since there are very few Earth vuln enemies?
