been looking around on the interwebs, can't find specifically what I'm looking for: any advice on how to best go through the exp dungeons tomorrow? trying to get my ffx chars some more levels (all currently 32 I think). Any advice appreciated.

Probably too late to be too useful for Heroic:

Shadows are weak to Blizzard and Water. I want to say they have between 3-3.5k HP. Normal attack, AoE Flash that can easily last the whole run, and a hard hitting Sap ability. I'd probably prioritize killing them if you get a split group.
Eels are the least threatening of the bunch, really. About 3k HP, a moderate lightning attack, manageable normal attack, and the ability to inflict slow/stop if I remember right.
Mages come next and aren't terribly threatening, but can still be annoying. Threat level is similar to eels, but a bit more HP and will absorb some spells. If you have someone who can use Comet as a mage, it's a good choice. If they're high enough and geared well, can even one-shot them with it. 3.5-4k HP.
Imps come last. They're the highest HP of the bunch, absorb pretty much everything except non-elemental magic, and can counter with a party-wide berserk. Their hits aren't as bad as the Shadows, but an ill-timed counter can basically lead to losing control of your party. Try your best to one-shot them, or if not, save them for last so at least your berserked people will hit them harder. I want to say they have between 3.5-4k HP.

Doing this with a party of low 30s will be rough, especially if physically inclined and not honed too well on abilities. However, an RW Sentinel's Tyro can help as has been noted. Personally, if you find yourself only barely managing Expert or worse, I'd suggest going back to Hard and shooting for Champion there. But if you don't mind restarting a lot if the Shadows get pissy, your stamina.

Hasn't been too bad, have all the ffx guys at 40 now. Just blasting through the first wave on heroic and exiting, missing out on exp eggs from finishing but whatevs, works for me. Thanks for the advice sirs.

Yeah got my FFX guys to 40-41, hopefully can hit 44ish by the end of the day. Hope that's enough to finish the event!

Low/Mid-40s will be rough for last few elite event fights if you're using Tidus/Wakka/Yuna. While you can ditch Wakka for Seymour, it's still a hard fight even with someone of higher level. Would at least suggest trying to get them to 50 and crystal'd for materia. Though options there can be somewhat limiting.

inc Ifrit boss battle that summons Infernal Nails lol. Quite interesting that they'd use dungeons only.

Considering they only rolled this out for a collab it might be a while before they do one for XI cos it doesn't have much of any new things coming out. Maybe Grandmasters.. or the native app for a collab.. otherwise we'd have to just pray for a XI primal to happen.

The trash on the way to Seymour is ridiculous. Nothing but round after round of YAT-99 doing 2.4k single target damage and 1k+ AoE, needing 3 hits to die. I'm going to be out of medals and abilities if I can even get to Seymour.

Having issues doing Darkness of Yenon still. My Cloud and Tidus are already lv65 so I can't rely on level up refreshes and can't seem to beat 2nd boss before megaflare comes out. Probably going to need to go all out and just Mythril it unfortunately =/
