Finished Shinra Tower Mastery right as the new event hit. Just a note, I didn't have dark attack or silence. Just ran in with Cloud/Tyro/Tifa/Rydia all between 28 and 30, and a 23 Sephiroth. I geared them with every bit of FF7 gear I could find, stuck Tyro and Rydia with a level 1 Cura each, and level 2 Thundara. Cloud had Thunder/Blizzard Strike, Sephiroth had Double cut, Tifa had nothing special. Weapons were all 3 star except for Sephiroth having a 4 star Kazikiri. Just beat that dog down and defend/Cura, then whoop Rufus's ass.

Yeah at this point I'm not even trying for mastery on shinra tower except on maybe low levels for some nice rewards. I just want to make sure i get Sephiroth before the event ends.

Today's daily was really helpful in leveling up my gear. Now that I've finished the regular story mode I need to push the expert levels correct?

I see 2 different rate up notices. Does using relic draw from each one have that rate up or are all 3 things up atm?

I'm poking at the expert levels slowly. I only grabbed the game back on the first so was still figuring out stuff and too low during the first few daily dungeons. I'd recommend leveling armor/weapons/skills/magic a little before going into the expert levels.

Hoping there's a significant amount of mythril in the new event, am sitting at 15/50 and not going to spend until I roll for 11 relics.

Shinra tower closes the 11 April
Cecil event closes the 16 april

Tifa and Sephiroth upper drop rate relic finish the 11 april
Cecil sword + shield upper drop rate finish april 16

What I'm asking is, if I click through the Seph/Tifa relic will the rate ups be only for their weapon? I don't know if theres one big pot with 4 weapon rate ups atm or 2 different pots, one with Seph + Tifa and the other with Cecil.

Just finished Shinra tower and got Sephiroth. I'll have to go back and re-do the last sets of floors to master them though, especially since Rufus took out both my mages in the last fight.

Keeping my Cloud out of the Cecil fights because he is level 34 and everyone else needs to catch up. So I threw some eggs to get Cecil DRK to 15 and then put Cloud's Genji armor and weapon on him. Should be able to get some nice levels on him.

Why is Cecil DRK only Combat though. Shouldn't he have black magic and spellblade as a drk? >_<

The missing spellblade definitely hurts, but like Sephiroth, I doubt you'll use BM much on him even if he had it. Similarly, I'm starting to doubt the usefulness of PLD Cecil, since with his relatively low MND, his Cura probably can't even keep up with a boss' normal attack for content that matters.

This is what I'm doing. Got DK Cecil so time for Orbs/Gil.

Paladin Cecil will be useful later in the game when you gain the PLD abilities to draw attacks to him. Right now I don't think there is much he can do.
