Also for jp. Search for qooapp on the internets, download and install apk. Search for final Fantasy, download and install.

Starting to get enough orbs for a set of level 2 spellsword attacks. Also have Jump, 2x Double Hit's, and working on Curaga/Protectga. Is it often better to hone one copy or make a 2nd copy, or is it dependant on party setup?

Are the higher level quests worth doing for hone/create? The completionist in me says "DO THEM" but orbs are scarce and I've done a few without realizing create quests were available (made a mind and power break) so that kind of irked me.

Is quake the only earth elemental attack? How am I supposed to hit some of these weaknesses in VIII if this is my only option?

Yes, Quake is your only option of earth attacks for now but you can easily ignore that requirement as long as you don't lose too many medals elsewhere.

The only summons I'd hone right now are Kirin + Carbuncle. I try to not hone things until I feel like I need them anyway.

I havn't found a use for Kirin yet, but as for lighting I have Thundaga + thunder and thudara strike at max, I could hone thundaja more but so many orbs
