How hard is EX/EX+ For people with good honing but medium gear/no retaliate?

Kinda curious what's in the 42mb update they pushed on me overnight.

There was an update on IOS on August 12 for 65MB that was like the Soulbreak mastery and all that stuff

Funny part is that I got that update After the Soulbreak master feature was released (and was able to play)

How hard is EX/EX+ For people with good honing but medium gear/no retaliate?

If you don't use retaliate or *at least* Cecil PLD's Sentinel RW, you might find the Brynhildr impossible. Bryn's damage output is intense even with protect/shell and it's spread out so that you probably need an AoE cure SB if you're going to have any chance of living for the duration of the fight. I originally tried it with SG as RW and I couldn't live long enough to kill it, but I had no AoE cure SB either. With an AoE cure SB, you might be able to do it with Boon or LH as your RW and bringing the other Pro/Shell on your healer. Sentinel's Grimoire just doesn't last long enough as your RW. In the end, I used Cecil PLD as my RW to at least focus the physical attacks on one target. I honed retaliate to R4 for this fight only as I feel like the combination of PLD Cecil RW and Retaliate in this fight is very helpful and legit *as long as you don't use other chars to attack the retaliated character as that to me is an unintended use of retaliate.* So you might have to go that route Rata, although I know you have an AoE heal SB so you can try that first and see how it goes.

Normal EX was a little rougher than some of the other ones only because of the damage output. I lost a bunch of damage taken medals that made it really close on mastering. Just make sure you get max medals on the first fight so that you have a little wiggle room on the others. I forgot to bring Initimidate for the Dread though so I could've saved some medals there.

There is no general pull; you always need to pick a banner to pull. The only "general pull" I guess would be daily relic pulls, but those are trash 99.9% of the time and don't cost mythril.

I pulled a 3* once. There is a very small chance of pulling a 5* though. Less than a .01% chance to pull one.
