At 50% start magic break 2nd arm

This strat will reduce your damage taken a bit as well, but most people ignore arms and just go for the body. What RW are you using?

There are three main ways of mitigation, and two of the three has been enough for most mastery conditions, provided you have decent damage output.

Shell / Protect
Sentinel Grimoire
relevant Breakdown (Power Breakdown is only slightly stronger than Power Break, but Magic Breakdown is much stronger than Magic Break)

I was so happy when I saw we got 12 Earth Orbs. Time to finally get Protectga to R2 and make Quake.

Protectga R2 is a waste right now; there isn't a single fight where we have needed it and it refreshes a charge every battle with WHM RM2.

The Golbez event a few weeks away will feature two bosses that absorb / resist all magic damage except for Poison (Bio) and Non-Elemental (Comet). They will counter physical attacks as well, so the only main options are:

1) Retaliate (retaliate counters aren't countered)
2) Craft and hone Biora/ga, Comet, and Valefor

More importantly Next even (Eiko sunday) features 3 EX ++ and you guessed it all ex ++ are against Beatrix, where each fight is harder and takes more stamina 20-40-60

that guy also used Provoke (Steiner) in his strat.. so hopefully that means we'll get it next week too. Tyro sucks but technically with Provoke, Retaliate and Advance you could make a Superboost Tauntaliate no?

Been on Lightning EX++ for the last hour and a half. Finally got her down to 1%, and then right before Cloud delivered the killing blow she kills Sazh with a Pyroblast...

Edit: Finally got it mastered. Had 1 Blizzara left, 2 Curaga's, and a Retaliate.
