Good luck getting Pld Cecil, that last boss wrecked me and I still can't clear it somehow. The fucker just spams darkness attacks that just bombard me.

The last dungeons in Shinra aren't hard if you have multiple Thundaras (I had 3, 2 on Rydia and 1 on Tyro), and another ranged (I was using Wakka)

Sounds like I need to just defend the entire time on the last fight.

Cast Power Break to reduce Dark Attack’s damage on the party
You have about 10 turns before a team wipe.
He doesn’t have a lot of HP so just kill him fast.

I was surprised with how I could auto-attack pretty much the entire event but the final floor was nearly a wipe. Not really worried about the master rewards so not going to bother.

Looking for others' opinions on the way the Gacha (Mythril pulls) works in this game.

I believe that there is one Gacha that you can pull from and for each event going on they increase the rates of the advertised items over the other 5* items. This does not increase your chance to get 5* items in general, just your ability to get the Event items over the rest of the 5* items.

Some people believe that there are two machines, one for each event, that you can choose to pull from. From my experiences with previous games of this nature (BF, PAD, CQ, etc.) this is not the case. The events work with and against each other. I believe that the banners are throwing people off because they do not update the information on one banner or the other if multiple events are happening.

Any thoughts?

The chance of pulling a 5* item doesn't change. The way I read it right now is that there's only one "pool" and all 4 items have an increased chance of being pulled IF you draw a 5 star item.

I'm sure it's just laziness not having to update the 1st banner when 2nd event is added and then re-update the banner when 1st event is removed. Just add another banner then remove the first one.

I'm nowhere near having enough crystals for power break, 1 of each so far. So I don't think this will work for me currently.

I've been using the mountain to power level Rydia from 11 to like 25 so far. The upper levels give upwards of 5k for champion rank. I'll probably do the same with Cecil.

From what I've read this is indeed correct. Your chance of getting a 5* item does not change and remains low. If you pull a 5*, the chance of getting the "upped" items from that pool does double. Pretty crappy IMO.

My question was more about the banner ads versus the number of Gachas.

There is a banner for Masamune/Grand Glove and a banner for Dark Sword/Shield thingy. People are saying that you only get the increased chance for Masamune/Grand Glove if you click that specific banner, otherwise you'd get an increased chance for Dark Sword/Shield thingy.

I believe you have a higher chance to get any of those 4 from one pool rather than two separate pools with a higher chance of two and two.

Does that make sense?

in any case, if im not wrong (i really dunno), with each new event they simply add a new 5* item or two to the list of possible 5* pulls right? and then also up the drop rate?
because if the 5*s are limited time only then u can never get a second 5* to combine it unless u're really lucky.

in other words, its probably safer to click the newer banner. i suppose the only way we know is if someone has gotten masamune while pulling after clicking the cecil one.

It's nicer because you can choose which weapons you have a higher chance of getting.

Either you have a 10% chance of a 10% chance of getting one of the items (2 items in each pool) or you have a 2.5% chance of a 10% chance of getting one of the items (4 items in one pool).

Percentages are somewhat made up, but from JP client you have a 10% chance of getting a 5* from a Rare Relic Draw.

So it doesn't matter how big the rank 5 pool is, your chances at getting one is the same.

For now, I think it does get better, because a larger portion of the 5* pulls become SB-altering weapons, which are better than generic 5* armor. If you ask most people, they'll probably prefer a 5* weapon over a 5* armor.

Droid Turbo. the graphics are fairly glitchy at times, perfectly fine at others... idk.

also I don't know what game you all are playing but I'm pretty sure you have 100% chance at getting a fucking 3-star from relic draw. son of a bitch, lol

occasionally I get a blackout where the bars and buttons are all blacked out, I just restart my phone and it fixes it
