actually doing pretty good on orbs today. the problem is I'm working on rank 5 hones for 3 stars, and I have nowhere near enough gil. but Gil dungeons and the celebration event will take care of that.

Well it helps for ex++ where all 3 are weak to Bio (and it's the only Nuke that they are weak to)

I never thought I'd be saying I have way too many Power/Black Orbs, but I'm about to be over 500 of each and Biora/Firaga the only 3*s left I have to make R4 doubles of.

You could probably sell em for a fuckload of gil when you're done with them lol

Hmm, figured it'd be something close to that. Neat. Google gives me nothing on this so I thank you all for telling.

Going to mention something that bugs me a little, more of a minor gripe than anything major.

FF8 has an important plot point revolving around their Summons, the entire game consists of gathering and junctioning these summons to improve yourself and gain access to abilities to use... and yet... not a single FF8 character can use even the lowest form of summons in FF:RK(that I can tell). I mean... what even. Could not Quistis or Selphie had access to 3*~4* Summons...? Any of them? Summons? The core concept of the game x.x?

lol that actually bugs me too. i'd have expected them to have like SMN 2 or something but nothing on all 7 characters released thus far. That being said.. the game balances the 8 characters very well so that they're all well rounded. You don't get any one trick pony characters.. Maybe Laguna or Edea? lol

Might be possible because you have 3 other stages. But if hes required in the boss rush or EX+ you better egg him.

Yuna doesn't get replaced with Ifrit/Shiva/Ixion.
FF7 characters cant use materia from the start.
You don't have to input quickenings for FFXII soul breaks.

I do find it clever how well they're able to place all these little nuances from the titles into this, so I can understand where gameplay doesnt quite mesh with everything on a title to title basis. There are some things, while head scratching in context, just don't carry over to the medium.

you should never need 5 hones except for curaga, that 5th hone is just too expensive. better off getting 2x 4 hones
