Just started playing with this yesterday; will I never be able to get Sephiroth/Tifa or have they said anything about those events coming back at some point?

I've heard that Tifa will be back in the future from normal dungeons or a special event

But no news of sephiroth

Woo just got my third black cowl today. Plus I pulled my first 5* (Regal Gown). I just hit 30 with my main group over the weekend and I'm going to try and tackle a few of the hard dungeons to farms some orbs since I have virtually no abilities.

In other news, got through storyline to FFVI yesterday, back to the grind of daily dungeons/elites until next sunday.

You cannot make many 5*s at this point in the game. Most of the decent armor you can make will be 1/2* and combine to 3/4*.

That being said, Black Cowl++ is a 5* that can be farmed up from Siren in FFV Ship Graveyard.

Just saw an announcement saying they nerfed some of the enemies in the elite dungeons.

apparently they nerfed the difficulty of elite a little bit.

theres only 2 ways to get 5* gear atm. 1 is by relic pulls, and 2 is if you upgrade relics that are at least 3*. The former is pure luck.. and the latter requires a lot of gil and upgrade items. Making a 5* from 3*, and then capping it is immensely powerful if it has realm synergy tho.. so for now you might want to consider upgrading 3*+ weapons and armor from FF5 and 6, since they're the only dungeons of sufficient difficulty atm, and you cannot use character realm synergy to your advantage.

Thank god on some of the nerfing. Wiped like 3 times on Sin on the first FFX elite due to the mini's hitting for about 6-700 on normal and one shotting on crits for what was a lvl 17 difficulty.

I beat it last night before and tried again today, and I got master now.

If I had Tidus and Wakka leveled, or actually seen a piece of FFX gear to use for synergy, I probably could have beaten it yesterday. May have to try to finish Mt. Ordeals now that i've gained a couple of levels.

Elite dailies are still randomly one shotting my level 33 Rydia with 5* Black cowl :/

I stopped using Rydia for the dailies, since she's too squishy. I just use an all melee party and auto-attack through. Monday's daily is definitely the hardest, though, since Seed Cannon hurts like hell. Black Cowl also doesn't give that much physical defense, and Seed Cannon probably gets full damage on back row.

After I did some testing, it looks like Cecil's bad SPD rating isn't as bad as I thought. A 56 SPD Warrior only charges the ATB about 30% slower than a 147 SPD Tidus, so Cecil isn't completely worthless, after all.

My 4* Hammer Cecil with Pro/Shell buffs is wrecking shit.

PLD Cecil is best used as a buffer it seems.

Yea, he's only good for the status buffs and debuffs, since his MND is too low to heal. Single-target buffs in a party of five seems like a real hassle, though. =(
