Think I was 4/9 in first phase, and 3/5 so far in second phase while doing Cloud event on and off. No mythril spent (don't hate me)

Started late, so I still can't make a single 5* ability.

No refreshes. Based on some of the rate of sightings posted in this thread, even without refreshing I should have seen more than 3 giant cactuars. That is unless those posters were embellishing their results.

I saw 14 but I also refreshed more than 10x. Didn't keep track exactly how many.

I'd say I've been fairly lucky finding the gigantuars. Based on the numbers posted on here and reddit, you should be seeing ~3 major orbs per phase if you use every stamina you can on it (no refreshes). Guessing at a 50% drop rate, that means roughly 6 gigantuars per phase. Even with more generous numbers I'm still an outlier, so I'm fully expecting to get screwed on phase 3/4.

This phase hs been really generous for 4* I think i got 20ish

I've seen a good number of regular cactuars and I'd estimate a 75% Greater Orb yield from them. As I said, though, I've only seen 3 big guys so far both in Phase 1. I used yesterday morning to clear up to Jenova LIFE utilizing a stamina shard refresh to speed it up.

I really don't see a need to do this, with the WHM RM2 anything more than r1 seems like a waste of orbs.

Also, I need you guys to talk me out of doing a 3 pull on Terra's banner. I really want a Minerva Bustier, and I'm starting to think that throwing some mythril at it isn't a bad idea.

I was half asleep last night and accidentally honed protectga. Nothing of value lost though. I have so many greater white and earth orbs right now and nothing to use them on.
