Managed to clear 3 man too. Don't think I'd have been able to do it without Blade Beam, which i had 2 charges going into the first phase (killed them pretty fast), and then an additional 2 built up along phase 2, supplemented by Planet Protector. I'd say SS2/SG is an absolute must for this fight and you have to be a bit lucky with what Bart spams. I brought Protectga for the fight, tho i think Shellga might have been a better choice. Thanatosian didn't really hurt me, but Baptisms did.

Working on daily dungeon today to upgrade all this gear I got from lucky draws. Then I'll finish hope event.

I ended up getting 2 more vega (i have 3 total) 42's between 100 gem pulls and lucky draws, i got a dimond sword as well, should i combine the guns to make a 7*? Or keep the 3 seperate to use on ranged battles?

Also i now have enough power and non-elemental orbs to create 1 of each of the breakdowns? Should i do that or farm enough of them to hone 2 of the breakdowns to r2?

+++ was pretty rough for me. I have zero synergy gear for XIII, outside of the Halloween gifts.

Went full mage meta and barely killed him.

Terra - Thundaja R4 / Power Breakdown R2
Golbez - Firaja R2 / Drainga R1
Vanille - Kirin / Diaga R3
Hope - Blizaja R2 / Protectga
Quistis - Waterja R3 / Mental Breakdown R3

Was 'stuck' using Golbez and Quistis because I have their Axe/Whip. I gave Hope the Halloween Hat for the AoE mage buff.

RM2 was Rod Master, Vow of Vengeance, Prayer of the Cetra, Mako Might, Impetuous Youth. In that order.

Mitigation was never a problem, I was fortunate and started the fight with 5 full ATB gauges. Couldn't believe my luck. He was very AoE happy and the lowest anyone ever got was Terra down to half HP because she ate a Crit on one of the hits early on. Regen was more than enough to keep up though. I was getting hit for 300-500 per person with the AoEs. Almost ran out of abilities beacuse of my low hones(Looking at you, MBO's) but I had 17 seconds on the timer when he dropped.

Yeah it was brought for haste only since I wanted to bring SG over Lunatic which is why Hope has Protectra.

sg rw. my yshtola has both of her breaks but i didn't need the third mitigation. changed my rm to missing party member boost for lightning. put mana spring/concentration on the other 2 so i could protect 1x for each trash pack and nuke the higher hp mobs. should've waited and only done it once. could've saved stamina!
