yeah mog can use rods and staves. when we can break his level cap he's pretty much going to be my main whm because of scarf. only reason I don't do it already is because he can't use RM, so no concentration 2 (or mako)

Scarf is pretty meh sadly, no MND and mog has basic MND, thank god for learning SB

How high would someone normally take the Kirin summon? Mines sitting at 3, but I realized I have orbs to 5 him.

Are any of the other 2* summons worth it?

Mine is at 4

I don't really see a reason not to take it to 5, the other 2*s are worthless.

I only took mine to 3. 3 rounds, 3 summons if need be.

If you're using him with Summon Spring and you need him more than 3 times, you're already failing imo.

But no, I haven't found a use for any sub-3 summons. I'm happy with my R3 Valefor and the prospect of crafting Bahamut or Odin when I can. I'd say if you have the orbs to 5 him there's little reason not to unless you'd rather use those orbs to trade up when we get conversion.

I stopped at 3 since that seems like more than enough for any boss fight.

I don't really know what to do with those orbs though. Most of the other 2* summons don't really seem that useful to me. I guess save for orb conversion.
