I really wish I had better synergy gear for 4, I've got some ok~ish mage gear, but nothing worth using for melee outside of an accessory or two.

I didn't even bother with reflect/dispel I just went in and straight kicked his ass. I figured with my own haste from boon I could pass the DPS check and I was right. He went down with 35 still on the doom timer.

Now I only have Ogopogo left. Is the Res goal still roughly 200 for melee and 250 for mages to survive the opening Deluge?

220-225 should make you live np

Issue is higher REs mean you can have less HP at the start (since trash are no joke)

yeah something that's +15 will usually go to +23, and something +20 will go to +30. (I know the rarity affects it but that's generally the rate)

I'm bringing Khimari (50), Celes (50), and Setzer (50) right now along with Hope and Vanille (58). Hope and Vanille are useful but Setzer is trash and gets 2 hit if I Vanille can't protect in time and Celes does crap damage.

I try to bring SS or SG on + dailies if available. Anyone vulnerable should be in the back row, obviously - even if they are a melee. Put ranged abilities on them if possible, and if not just deal with their shit damage.

Nah. It's easy enough to knock out new crystals with Sunday and eggs.

Obviously I took all named to 50, crystal or not.
