ran outta content..bonus battles are tonight or tomorrow?
eager to take on behemoth king and earth dragon. :D better hone aerora strike for earth dragon i guess.
Tomorrow
I'm trying to pop deathguise since I'm bored
damn. guess i can put in some work into the daily. i already have enough GHO for ruinga r4 though. maybe i can put them toward something else later.
Just have FF4/5/6 elites left to catch up on. 136 2/5 Stamina and counting.
So close.
fucking wrecked ogopogo, 140 2/5 yesss. all caught up
went with a melee burn pt and it was a complete joke. to think I was sad when I drew kains lance!
Talking about leveling. I have 3 people at 50, 2 in the upper 40s, 2 or 3 more in the 30s. I still have core dungeons to do. Should I hit the XP dungeons on Sundays or just focus on core dungeons?
If you aren't having problems with mastering the dungeons, I'd keep grinding on those.
Is it me or does FF4 have the worst Elite bosses?
4 of the last 5 are:
White Dragon
Dark Bahamut
Lunasaurs
Ogopogo
I don't see the fuss against lunasaurs
Fuck that noise. I have Cloud with Blade Beam, Sazh with Boon and Yshotla with Stoneskin. All encompassing A team right there. I did bring Rydia though.
lol, then why are you bitching about anything? Built-in stoneskin and boon to start any boss fight is ridiculous.
(I full-time my boon-y Sazh too)
Can confirm. Have both.
Lunasaurs aren't too bad if they let you get mitigation up.
Dark Bahamut and White Dragon just forced me to use comet and biora instead of -aja so that definitely increased the difficulty since I didn't want to spend orbs on bioga. Using 3* magic on elites of that level make you take more damage since you can't kill them as fast.
The boss that was the worst for me was holy dragon. That was my fault though since I didn't cure Eiko enough and she kept getting 1 shot by holy on the first turn. Then it turned in to an S/Lfest trying to get good ATB timers to heal her before getting one shot.
It is kinda BS how Ogopogo and Dark Bahamut basically take two medals away right at the start of the fight before you can even do anything.
Sure, but as long as nobody dies it doesn't really matter, unless you are losing more than one medal per trash round which is hard.
Never saw mitigation as the problem with Lunarsaurs. It's completely losing control of your party via sleep/confuse or their main method of attack getting blocked via blind/silence.
