I was wondering if the Exp+ fights are strictly 99k exp. The heroics would range from 58 to 79. In terms of exp/stamina the + fights are still better, but I just wish it had a bump to 110k or something pending on mob spawn.

Also pots don't give more exp they give either a 3* or 4* egg

I like that it gives like 2 more Growth eggs that I can throw onto people that I don't even bother to switch in (lolCores) and the fact that there are no imps or crew dust make the battles far less annoying :D

Paralyze RNG fucked me for a bit combined with bringing no healer and accidentally leaving Celes in the back row. But knocked it out with only one medal lost once para decided to stop sucking.

I still wish they gave characters a default non-SB 3-4* weapon upon unlocking them so they at least have SOMETHING to equip if they have a unique weapon.

Yeah, but it has a 60 second timer on it. Someone posted a video on reddit of Strago soloing the ++ where it was able to kill both forms of the Behemoth King using it.

With Gilgamesh and Bartz coming I'm wondering what the point of carrying around Setzer and Celes will be.

I still don't have a legit 5* support that has a good ranged weapon, and Wakka or Setzer can use the pumpkin bomb but lolpumpkin.

Unless that's enough, I guess.

You see... I don't think this game uses real RNG mechanics. Last night I had zero issues landing poison and paralyze.

This morning those same characters miss EVERY time.

1 greater orb in 120 stamina is not higher.

It's random.

Our runs are purely anecdotal.

Alright friends, need your help in figuring out how to clear the stage for Hope's memory crystal.

I've cleared everything in this event save the Bart fight (lol not happening) and Hope's MC -- my crew eeked through the level 90 difficulty thing somehow, netting me the accessory.

Anyhow, this is my crew:

Cloud (level 55) - Thunder Strike (R3) and Retaliate (R2)
PLD Cecil (level 45) - Curaga (R2) + Armor Break (R1; I think I can hone it..)
Lightning (level 41; has attack close to Cloud and Cecil's even before synergy bonus) - I usually throw spellblades on her.
Terra (level 44; has her enhancer maxed) - Comet (R2) / Thundaga (R2)
Vanille (level 42) - Curaga (R3) / Waterga (R2)

I can usually make it to the bosses, but they just end up stomping me. I've tried a mix of different RW's: Blade Beam (which hits them both for around 9.5-10k), Lunatic High, etc. The tips say confuse seems to help, so I'm not sure if I should go that route.

I'd like to get Hope's MC so I can have at least one mage break the level 50 cap. I didn't get Terra's MC, and my other option is, well, Tyro.

The first thing I see is 2 forms of Curaga, Not sure if you should go that route... I'd equip Cecil with Power Break instead if you need to bring him, this will help mitigate their AoE crap and I think your problem is not enough weakening of the enemy. Second, try using Stoneskin or Shield Grimoire RW to mitigate damage... If not Lunatic high I think would be your best option since their most annoying move if I remember is an AoE Physical Attack. But Stoneskin/Shield are really great for both magic and normal attack mitigation, and I can't remember how magic happy they are....

If you're just dying too much and need that second curaga, try using Fabled Song RW (Protect + Heavy Regen), It can help you a lot with your recovery issues, and is just substituting Haste for survival which is what you may need, up to you.

As for Clouds skill, I don't use Retaliate personally so I don't know how great it is or isn't but If It were me, I would recommend you use Mental Break instead to help your mages deal more damage, killing them quicker.

Focus one boss down first and then focus on the other. Use Mental/Armor on the one you're focusing and Power/Magic on both as you see fit (Idk how long they last I thought I heard someone say 60s?).

Also, Vanille is a WHM like character yah? If you can get a good high-hone(Even R2 is 6 uses) Diaga/Diara I think that might be better for her even accounting for weakness on the one than Waterga, and you can give Waterga to Terra, upping her worth.

I'd take mental break over armor, but not sure what abilities you have left when you get to boss. Might want to use a mythril to refresh abilities in your case. I agree with taking stoneskin or some other mitigation for RW. Also not sure how effective retaliate is with your setup, might be better to bring another spell blade
