The thing about that is. Some people don't like to be on their damn phones while doing other things all the time. I like not feeling "obligated" to do things for this game. Thats why I am not caught up with dungeons. And I am okay with that.

Yes and I'm happy with where I am. My point was not everyone sees that time spent as something they wanna fork over to a mobile game everyday so they don't lose a few stamina. And that's fine. It mostly hits me on the weekends. I am out a lot and I'm not willing to take my phone out all the time just to auto battle shit.

The thing about a mobile game is... it's mobile... that allows flexibility. 45 min/day split up with breakfast/lunch break/whatever free time you have really isn't a lot when it's not undivided attention.

That's just the thing, my family deserves my undivided attention. It's not like I was locking myself in a closet at home to burn up my stamina, it was while I was engaging half-heartedly with them, multi-tasking while watching a show at night, whatever. I don't really want to play it unless I'm "optimizing" it, so I've gotta step away.

I just play it like on my lunch at work or if there's some mindless dungeons I'll do them whilst driving (I.e. auto or mash buttons)

I'm way behind on dungeons but I can still beat the +++'s so I'm not concerned about being behind.

I play while I take a crap in the morning before I shower, at lunch at work, when I take a crap when I get home, and spend the last 60 or so stamina before going to sleep.

I didn't see anyone giving him shit... I swear people jump to the "I DONT HAVE TIME" to look cool or something. It isn't hard to spend a couple stamina here or there and you don't have to spend it anyway. I don't get how you feel "left behind" on a game that isn't really online? If the threads concerning the game are making you feel left behind, don't read them. You can get all relevant info from their official site where people put testimonials on setups that win.

Once I got caught up I started to feel less pressured to use all my stamina. Went out the other night, the night the bonus battles were released, and by the time I got home at like 1am with a full stamina bar I just didn't feel like playing even though I was wide awake. Just said fuck it and put it off to next day. Doing that more and more these days as it takes less and less to keep caught up.

The Chaos Dragon mob CAN be evil, they will either come in pack of 1 (with another mob) or in pack of 2

Incinerate (auto KO 1 target)
Disaster Silence, Confuse, Blind and doom all target

Meteor did 1k to all my members without mitigation on Classic. and they have about 4k HP

Thye will probably be a S/L fest for Elite, but they are weak to use, so abuse it

I feel like you missed the point entirely. You're acting like FFRK is some kind of time-sucking MMO; it isn't and there shouldn't be any pretending that it is. No one is shitting on anyone for putting family first; it's just that it's hard to imagine a game this casual wreaking RL havoc to the extent that you need to distance yourself from it.

I understand what archie is saying. When you only have a few solid hours to spend with your family, even 15 min away can feel like too much. But when playing the game you kinda want to be all in or not at all. It's not as much fun when you're finishing events up at the last minute or you see so many people ahead of you that you feel like you're struggling to keep up. Sure no one's forcing you, but being at the forefront of content (or close to) is part of the fun for some.

Jenova Life classic is much more annoying then cloud's ++

1) She attacks twice
2) Blue Flame does 2k + without mitigation even on classic
3) At least she is indeed vulnerable to quake this time

Ok, down to 5 dungeons left of classic, which the last one should refresh me. So I think I'll be able to complete those first thing in the morning and go into a full day of orb farming.
