Was able to do the event on hard with x4 lv 40-41 chars and Cyan at lv 27 with synergy and get mastery as well. About ran out of every single ability but was great to get 5k thingies in one run. So much better than normal

I've been using some of my lower chars with my 48-50s; like L33 Rydia as a gimp healer with a Royal Crown for RS boosted defense and L31 Terra with Genji Helm. They've never had any problems surviving on Hard and at least the EXP doesn't go to waste.

On a side note, EXP trick is awesome. I've been using chars as low as level 7 and only one has been one shotted before I could get Bladeblitz off in ~100 runs. The only reason that even happened was because I used a weaker RS armor I hadn't fully upgraded on level 8 White Mage (CC) instead of an upgraded Royal Crown.

Grinded celes to 50. In the process got rydia 42- 48 and aerith 30-44. Time to work on Terra/cyan.

Right now I have Celes and Rydia in a pt. Rydia is using dragon and 1shotting the slimes and splitting the exp w/ celes down the middle.

Yeah, I'm doing parties of 2 or 3 to get leveled quickly. Trying to decide which characters are worth getting to 50 for their record materia... so far I've done black mage and summoner, but not sure who else to focus on. Any thoughts?

I have Celes, terra, both Cecil + Josef as my group for memory farm, then I use tyro + Smn + blm for pudding exp with tyro using shiva, works well for now ( they got 1-10 in 1 fight)

As of today the only use of a lv50 character is to plow through content.

But soon we will get record materia ( that requires a character lv 50) that will give you a kind of passive skill that you can transfer to other character and raise that said character level cap to 65


But each character need to be 50 to gain their own record materia

I hate wasting exp, so I'm not using any plvlers. I took the core jobs each to about 20, so they could take up to two hits. Now I'm leveling Summoner, Bard, and Black and White Mage together using Dragon.

Doubt I'd ever touch Ranger, Knight, Warrior, or Cyan.

Bard is the one with a 60% ATK to all. Ranger has the 10% to trigger Barrage (70% x4).

It will take about 7.5 full set of 78 stamina by just doing puddings to level 2 characters from 1-50 if I know my maths

80 stamina takes 4h to charge a normal person stays awake for average 15-16h ( let's take 16)

So you could do 4 runs of 78 stamina per day so would take almost 2 days to level 2 characters ( no powerlevel) from 1-50

Am I correct?

So I started Celes event a day late. Is it even possible to get 200k points without resetting stamina?

You have to do special quest of events with that said character in the PT

exemple both Cecils Record Materia 1 comes from the Reissue of the Light and Darkness event. When you get that Materia you can equip it on any character (you have a new slot specially for that)

But to unlock a character Materia that character needs to be 50

Don't need a powerleveler anyway. Cecil PLD Level 20 with a 3* (10/10) Falchion and Diamond Helm (Name might be off but it's the 3* VI helm that has attack on it too) and Hyper Wrist does like 1.1k to all with Bladeblitz so there's a ton of wiggle room to use a different armor or accessory. Greater Wind Orbs are easy to farm from Moblitz Elite too when the event is over so that's what convinced me to get Bladeblitz.

Almost all of my named characters are 40+, so all of them would be considered power-levelers.

Except Cyan. Not touching that guy.
