I love Rinoa and all, but at the moment, I don't see her outshining Rydia considering I don't have lv 4 or 5 black magic and Rydia has ice whip+ maxed out

Does whip do nerfed damage from backline or no? Your best BLM is basically going to be whoever you get the specific weapon for unless you get lucky and pull Rinoa's or Terra's too then I'd definitely make the swap to one of those two. Terra's HP and ability to equip heavier armor and use Phys Support L4 gives her the edge in my book, but I guess I'm a bit biased since I pulled her 5* weapon. Rinoa might be even better than Terra with her weapon though since she can sit on the back line and not have nerfed damage like Wakka.

FF8 is relatively much more popular than Ff5 in the west so that's probably why they pushed this forward. I think we can expect Lightning to come sooner too

That's basically what I thought too; I've been dying for a break so I could actually go and hit the max stamina cap without feeling like I'm falling behind... been sitting @ 74 forever.

I have orbs to make Blizzaga but doubt I'll bother with it unless they release the EX ones. I'm pretty sure lv 40s will be able to beat it, if not, lv 50s can just steam roll it.

We won't get EX but might get Elite and Trex sucks on Elite

Why not give Wakka a ranged weapon then?
