Dunno... I played around with it a bit to see what kind of numbers it put out. Managed to get 3k out of a 50 shadow, but that's with gearing for it and using circlet boost. That's not bad, but it's also not going to cut it in higher tier dungeons with the amount of support required.

As a side note, ascension RM does not work with ninja scrolls. I know it says black magic, but considering the scrolls do elemental magic damage I figured it was worth trying.

Are there any ninjas with high magic? Who the hell is Swift Bolt meant for? Besides Tyro I guess.

Ninja skills don't scale that well with magic, have high potency (to make up for it) and ignore enemy's RES stat. They still only shine on Tyro and on Ninjas if you happen to pull their relics. You could also give them some mage thrown weapons like Rinoa or Hope's relics.

edit: not nearly as bad once rng doesn't give that fucker a full atb at the start and you can get even a little mitigation at the start took saza for boon and his hp just happened to be the lowest after the fist fight died no matter what every time first turn, red dragon wasn't even nearly as bad breezed though him.

Soooo, is there any reason to use Kimahri? Even on X dungeons I don't want to use him and would rather take a lv65 that's at least not a complete dead weight.

How did you take damage during the Chadarnook fight? Honest question. Assuming everyone at full HP, holy goes to a random target.

Didn't have many problems with Leviathan actually. Maybe I'm the only one. Really just had to soft reset to get a fight where he didn't act right away so I could get reflect on him or have him use attack twice so I could reflect him. With poison it's smooth sailing after that. Ended the fight with 2 Thundaja, 1 Thundara Strike and 4 Ruinga's to spare.

Boon was my RW. 148 2/5 is stamina cap now right? Probably going to NEO and exp daily today and tomorrow and do Shadow bonus fights monday

I just saw your question on chat incase you didn't beat it yet, I don't suggest you bring magic to +++ unless you have reflect, he will counter any magic with AOE Stop

Runic blade RW isn't bad for the +++ fight either. I stuck it on my support char and had a steady stream of magic b/d and full break. Used the other charge on my firaga strike user. 2/5 of the party not taking any damage made healing a breeze.

I got plenty of the AoE Blizzaga. Good thing my Y'shtola got Medica II.

I edited my post, Strago didn't had curaga, he had R2 reflect equiped

So I went in with 0 heals

MY RM were like,

Strago um attunment I or Vow of Vengence forgot

He almost never used Blizzaga on me, so it wasn't useful, and when he did it was the AOE one

Yeah, he favored aoe attacks for me too, but I had both runic blades going at the same time, so only 3 characters were taking dmg at all. With breakdowns and shellga, no one was taking more than ~600 dmg from most attacks. Easy to heal with 2700+ curagas.
