One 11 pull got Cloud's wep like I wanted (too bad no Tyro but have Thyrus from last one). I'll admit I was a bit disappointed by the amount of mythril needed to pull compared me playing another game like Brave Frontier. Never pulled really at all once in FFRK since I started until the other day and can see I will run out very quickly (saving last two pulls of my remaining mythril for the last phase of this). I had been really lucky so far these times it seems but it is a real kick to you if you miss like I did in Black Friday. Had around 180-ish mythril total prior to pulling which I thought it was a lot until I saw the amount required for pulling XD

Stats are still weaker then a normal weapon for Atk MND and MAG (I guess it's my best BLM weapon but Tyro still can't have more MAG then Rinoa)

So yeah SG X1 is fine but X2 or X3 is a nightmare

Time to save the rest of my mythril for phase 4 and 5.

Caved and did an x11 hoping for SG or Organics... ended up with SG. Now that I've got all of the holy SB trinity without using a RW, it's smooth sailing! Are grimoires melee damage nerfed from back row?

It really depends on the rest of your team, how much damage you're bringing in your other slots, and how risk adverse you are. Moving her to the front will up her damage by around 50%, by my estimate. But if you have heavy hitters in your other slots, her increase may not matter much in terms of total team output. And if she's the weakest link, putting her up front may significantly increase her chances of dying, depending on what you're fighting, and cost you an S/L.

thanks for the feedback! I think I will put her in back with a bow for now because I've got Tidus with Dark Sword and (soon) Firion with Demon Axe, so I've got two really strong front line melee characters. Fran will be more support-focused with the possibility of doing a bit of black magic and/or weapon damage, while still taking hits better than Rydia (though I'll miss Rydia's spellcasting... but I can always slot her back in if I like)

This is how I felt when I got jack from the 14 event I saved up for, however a short break and the realization there are always future, better banners made me return. In regards to the response, someone just posted on reddit giving his account away because he spent over $300 on P2 and didn't get the relic he wanted.

Yeah, sometimes we all just have bad luck. I've gotten a few five-stars on random YOLO pulls so it's not all bad. I'm still unhappy with the fact that playing a certain character means you either spend a ton of money, get lucky, or leave them without their best abilities - but it is what it is. Well after spending about 260 Mythril trying for Thyrus between the SSB Banner and the 14 event, I finally got it with my last 15 Mythril. Then proceeded to pull SG with 100 gem lol. Guess I'm just gonna wall everything to death now.

Was prepared to spend all my mythril on these banners; may do one more 50 pull for the third or 4th phase, but other than that just going to start hoarding mythril again

Decided to actually fuck around on the jp acc I made a month back and god damn, gonna hoard mythril for bssbs, just used a cloud RW one and not only did it fuck shit up, it turned my lvl3 tyro into a killing machine XD.

Ok, after seeing the bssbs and ramza's shout in action, decided to save all mythril after SSBfest for cloud, squall, and yuna bssb banner and for the FFT banner, with MAYBE a 50 pull saved for lightning SSB and SSB2 fest depending on how they rearrange them (fuck that jp P1 banner is perfect for me /cry).
