In regards to the fucking rng, did the smn half price 11 pull on jp acct, 3 4s, rest 3s, think I only have 2 SB 5 stars from 150+ mythril, thank god that's not my main's luck lol.

Pretty sure I won't be beating Exdeath since I don't have the SB trinity. :/

Edit: Basically, best I seem to manage is hitting 50%, then he decides to wreck my shit when he enters triple attack phase. Needing both Shell and Protect, which he can Dispelga, puts a damper on offense. Also need to guarantee 3 ability slots to Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder unless you have someone's SB to cover. I'm locked to Tyro for SG. Breaks obviously resist, so his nukes are doing 800+ even fully mitigated. Doubt Reflect is an option since these all seem like AoE nukes, too. P2Wers get their wish of an "exclusive" endgame, I guess.

I have no good SB really, I think Planet Protector is the closest thing to a passable SB I have. Fun times. Also, I feel sorry for you people having bad luck in the JP version... I ... have excellent luck in the JP version. I have a few dry streaks but nothing nearly as bad as my International version. Also have a lot more useful SB in the JP version, 2 of the Super-mode SB's (Clouds and PaladinC's) too.

Ngh, finally beat it after revamping party.

My suggestion to anyone who has the gear to field it, run with 3 Spellblades. Put one element on each than an R3 or 4 Drain Strike on their other. You'll probably want an R2 Shellga just because Dispel, then obviously cures. Personally using Lenna, I had her use her Regen LB early on and then the christmas wand AoE heal later. Those who have Yuna or Y'shtola's SBs will probably be better off, though. I had my Tyro on Magic and Full Break duty, using SG when he could. Took some luck and restarts (usually due to bad counter Dispels and Hurricanes near the end, FUCK), but finally got him down. Note that you can let one person die and still master, too.

Still, not really gonna like this if it's the future trend of boss fights.

Next one (Yunalesca) is supposed to be one of the hardest, should be interesting. I won't be able to try out Exdeath until late tomorrow.

Ugh, got Exdeath to 10% before doom got my party, went with mostly support, so gonna try a mostly DD party and gotta say, god damn people were not kidding about needing a natural wall and aoe cure. Thank god mystic veil succeeded as my SB aoe cure, was doing 1400ish on Lenna.

I'm doing the same as you, Rata. I unlocked Faris and Krile so I have someone to exp in orbfest first.

In regards to power breakdown r3 or magic breakdown r4, I'd vote for magic breakdown. Steal power is straight up better than power breakdown. And with Faris this event, you have a theif that can use steals if you didn't already.

I only did first 2 stages since krile and faris are not needed in the event I'm not in a rush with them

Yep, had to reset a few due to counter dispel, but the round I won, he spammed ST agas, didn't have a round where he didn't cast all 3.
