Apparently Japan is getting a login campaign for New Year's which will include the Fat Chocobo summon and a free 5* (well, more like 4.5 based on stats usually) gun. The Fat Chocobo summon was also data mined in Global so we may get this as well.

Man, +++ was rather fun. Got sleep to lock her on Fire weakness and whittled her down to 15% without missing a Sleep. Then she switched to Lightning and Lulu made short work of her.

Am excite about Ultimate.

So for the +++ fight, I don't have enough Fire spells honed to do mage meta with a sleep lock. I can kind of alternate with Tidus using sleep buster, but does anyone have a melee with 1 mage strat that works? Can get her down to about 65% before sleep fails and I get annihilated by aoe.

Personal opinion, but I feel the Sleep spell is more accurate than Buster. My personal rule of thumb on application is 3 attack rounds after sleeping then going again, it'll overwrite. If you miss, you still have a bit of buffer time to try again. Unfortunately, if you employ physical attackers, you'll wake her up. Best bet if you don't have a ton of Fire hones is to whittle her down with those you do have, then buff yourself and intentionally wake her and hope he she shifts to your next best element. In my experience, she'll do at least 1 attack before shifting like this, so taking damage is probably unavoidable. If you go in with Breaks, time them to hit just before your resleeps, too.

Overall, I felt the antlion was harder than her, but that's also due to Draw Fire shitting the bed when it was berserked. So I just held off on that until it was low HP.

I thought Draw Fire didn't work on berserk mobs? Antlion really to me was the easiest fight in the game. I only had to restart that one twice, cause I got a little too antsy and didn't get protect back up in time, and another one where he opened up with a 5200 crit on Lenna to start the round.

Jokes aside, yeah, he wasn't hard. I had a few restarts though just because he'd do his loogie attack and kill someone right at the start. At least Exdeath is merciful in that he always seems to start with a physical attack.
