I haven't done story battles in like 2 months so I was wondering what the current ones were like in terms of difficulty. Did the rewards ramp up cause around galufs release the rewards are shit and you can't afk auto battle trash without getting fucked up.

Pretty much all elites give you some Major orbs for mastery and most of the new Elite bosses can drop them as well (although it's rare). In terms of difficulty we're up to lvl 140 in Elite but some bosses are way easier than others.

Sometimes I find the elite trash requires me to s/l until I can do my AoE and kill them before any of them attack. I think the IX elite trash in this latest update was doing 3k+ dmg with each spell cast, didn't feel like bringing carbuncle to boss fight so didn't have for trash. Usually on elites level 110+ I pay very close attention to event he trash

Can confirm; the IX trash are a bunch of cunts. I'm on my last IX elite clear then just a couple of the VII elites and I'll be caught up. None of it was particularly hard despite the annoying IX mobs that have crazy strong magic.

I dunno if you did every Classics before elites but Karnak Castle is DU 3 and we are at 16

And nah, I'm on like... DU 14 or something for Classics. Just haven't done most of the elites. I'm still at 122 stamina XD

Well now I know how far behind I am (started back in October.) Grinding through DU5 classics with a few elites done to get some stam crystals. At least I have characters high enough to get MC1s from the elite banner events consistently.
