questions while I think about prepping for yunalesca:

holy isn't affected by magic break/downs, correct? but shell reduces damage?

do power breakdown and steal power stack at all?

I'm kind of weary if I can even beat Yunalesca. I already had issues fighting +++ due to lack of X synergy ( which is to say none aside from the stuff given in the events ). Only other thing I have for X is lullaby wand which doesn't do much.

This is my plan for U (used this setup for 99 one and lost 0 medals)

Which is why I'm debating on what to do with Wakka since he really won't contribute anything to the fight but Full Break, and I don't have SG so Tyro is out of the question. If Yuna can't manage on her own I'll have to bench Wakka and put Vaan or Yshtola in his place. Edward could do it but his SB is useless unless I use Balm. Barrett? Lolno. Faris isn't high enough. Sazh has no Boon so no point.

Unless I put Emerald Bracers on him for shell duty and use SG for a RW.

Red XIII (65); Ori Dirk++ (5*), Thornlet+ (5*), Omega Badge; R2 Full Break, R3 Mental Breakdown; Mako Might

Lenna and Red had Mako Might/Mog's Teachings. Red put up LH, Vanille put up Shellga, and whoever got ATB filled other than those two put up SS2. Red used Full Break then Mental Breakdown, then attack; repeat to save on FB charges. Mages did what they normally do, nuke when possible with Lenna on SB cure duty after 1-2 AoE depending. Rebuff as you're going to hit halfway mark, but I saved the last Shellga charge for after Dispel.

Used 2x LH, 2x Lenna SB, and 2x SS. On winning run I didn't get Dispelled until the very end so I ended up only using 1 Shellga.

Vivi with Thundaja and the rod was doing 9999 with FB and Mental BD. Rinoa was doing around 7k, and Vanille around 5-6k I believe. Lenna was also hitting 9999 with Diaga, but I had something like 430 MND with RS gear and sync bonus.

If anyone died, I was hoping it would be Vanille.

Fortunately for me, X synergy is a cakewalk both offensively and defensively with all natural 5*s or better and I'll smash Yunalesca badly.

RM3s came easy to me following Tyrath's advice. Vector streets first part over and over. Didn't exit and didn't use a even use one full stamina bar for Cloud's and Tyros. Did you try this?

There's still another day, but if I had to choose, I'd do LH. If you use Carbuncle, AoE cure isn't really needed until the final phase, because you can do your standard cures in the first phase. Haste + standard cures should keep you topped off in the first half. My guys' SB gauges were filling very quickly when the AoEs starting coming in like crazy.

For my exDeath winning run. I put Lionheart on my AoE healer. It made it so I managed to get an AoE heal ready by the time ExDeath was at roughly 60% so I could heal to full before phase change. Freed up my Mog's teachings for SG.

I put SG and Lunatic as soon as possible, then I started hitting Cindy ( the fat one)
Tyro kept Mindy (the bee) magic breakdown while Rikku kept Sandy (the middle one) tried to poison her
Make sure the fat one dies first or else she can raise the others

Simple, Carby then Berserk and just rekt it. I gave Yuna Flash of Light RW so I could hope to get her attack first to put carby up ASAP
