So, wanting to upgrade a lot of my Weapons, a little behind, I've done a few of the hardest runs in the JP Orbfest Material part, so far I've gotten 7 Weapon upgrade materials 6 3* and 1 4*, and 38 Armor, including 4 of the 5*.

I'm more than a little bit upset since every piece of armor I own is fully maxed.

Anyway, thats something.

I got lazy and copied Rata's ++ and +++ setup. Easily cleared. Hah. Thanks bro.

My + setup was very similar but I went with another mage instead of a spellblader. In hindsight should've done just that because of third boss.

I was just saying that so people that has no ninja level to get ready for it, I just checked and you need to SAP the +++ boss of Edge event

think it'd be clearer if you called it Target Score

With Thancred being my main ninja, this is going to be cake.

Also decided to just save my mythril until the Lightning event comes along. The only thing of value in that banner is Rinoa's relic and frankly I'm not having any trouble clearing dungeons (or Misfortunes, and I understand Yunalesca is the hardest). With R2 Full Break now I have little reason to be concerned with synergy on the upcoming events since I'm nuts with it already across the board.

Paralyzing Shot worth honing? And why is it not a Machinist ability?

GLO and GWO, seems orbs are better used for other skills (and GPO for Samurai Skills) and only hone if you have surplus.

Did you only go in with one person? Because you can afford to lose one person for Mastery (unless it's Yuna) and you can, you know, still win if one person dies.

Yea, it's actually pretty nice. Does nearly as much damage as Dismissal and is basically like a Blind/Silence/Venom buster with Paralyze proc. I honed it once just for lulz.

Anybody can post a setup for last FFIII elite (lv 140) please? I don't have much FFIII weapons for RS. This is the last donjon I miss before beeing up to date (finished FFV today) and I'm a little scared about this leviathan fight.

Edward is like the ultimate troll at this point. They better add his crystal in this event.
Also Tidus ftw against Yunalesca. Managed to master her on my first try and his Slice&Dice did like 30k+ damage.

I found a decent setup without having to rely on retaliate strat. Now ready for FFIV event and daily spam!

Just a note on the sap requirements coming up: we get the NIN ability, Shadowsteel, as a reward from Edge and Rosa boss rush. So, it's not really worth worrying about relics that have the added effect. Also, don't forget Tyro can use everything if you prefer not to level a ninja for a specific fight.

Getting Reflect on him before he can buff seems to be a good idea. I didn't and it was a struggle. Otherwise, slow and keep magic break(down) on him and chip away. His buffing seems to have a pretty high priority in the AI, so it's possible he'll waste some turns completely trying to Protect/Haste. Petrify is rare, but it can happen at a bad time. Just expect to S/L a bit. Refia is also apparently good here since you can put Tempo Flurry on her to handle slows while pairing Punishing Palm and her native SB can up her damage output.

it's funny, after orbfests the daily dungeons bore me and after the event dungeons I'd prefer catching up on the DU's
