Did you only go in with one person? Because you can afford to lose one person for Mastery (unless it's Yuna) and you can, you know, still win if one person dies.

I took a whole group, but lost 6 medals total. 1 for actions, 2 for damage taken, and 3 for not letting anyone die.

Just a note on the sap requirements coming up: we get the NIN ability, Shadowsteel, as a reward from Edge and Rosa boss rush. So, it's not really worth worrying about relics that have the added effect. Also, don't forget Tyro can use everything if you prefer not to level a ninja for a specific fight.

For Geryon yeah but Godo requires Yuffie in the party anyway. You do need Edge for a few Elites though so it'd be wise to level him up a bit.(Rosa is required for 1 Elite stage and DRK Cecil for the ++ fight)

Edge should be fine at 50 for +++ Just like Rikku was for her event which is good

I didn't notice Edge was required for the elites, guess I'll just level him through the event a little. Yuffie is required for so much shit, she would get leveled regardless.

He's just needed in the fight vs the King and Queen of Eblan

JP is a DU21 we are at 17 and they are getting 1 DU per month atm, so as soon as we catch em we should stop getting lots of mythrils (will still get the 10 per event tho)

Easily can do both. Until Fang event ends, there is about 23 mythril from login and 30 from events (Edge, Fang and Yuffie events). So about 116 at this point without accounting for dungeons. Then about 13 from login and 20 from events (Beatrix and Penelo). Which would put you around 149 total by the time Beatrix ends.

Sweet, I would love to try and pull twice on one of them. I don't plan on pulling from VII just because I have tons of synergy and I'm good on IV. It's IX, XII, XIII where I'm hurting the most.

Cyan, Gau (yeah, they finally remembered he exists) and Setzer also get MC2 so there's 5 total. They're preparing for MC3 I guess with all these MCs going out now.
Also Setzer's new card relic is considered thrown unlike his dart so they've changed that as well.

Man, tried Yunalesca using Advantilate just because people had said how easy it was. Ending up quitting out after too many S/L's because random people kept dying. Switched to my normal strat and won after 3 resets, 2 of which were my own mistakes. Multi-hit SB's with buffs are just a ridiculous game changer when zerging down phases, you can effectively sit on like 50-75k of burst damage.

If anything the difficulty in the fight came from the dead weight that was Yuna. I took Yuna for Medals and Aeris for PP, which meant a ton of lost damage as they just sat around doing nothing most of the time. Would have been a lot easier with an extra melee in that slot.

I hate fights that force you to take certain characters!

No. I don't think I have you on my friends list. I took SG as my RW.

At the end I was able to Lupine Barrage + Blaze Rush under Planet Protector and Breaks. That was just short of 60k damage.

Lupine was probably my MVP (used with a 6* Shimmering Blade). I gave Bartz Ace Striker so he managed to build his 1st Lupine and fire it off just before PP wore. Then spent 2-3 rounds with Lupine's attack buff up before Aeris got enough SB to re-use PP.

Bartz probably did like 55-60% of my damage, Lightning 30-35%, Sazh 7-8% and Aeris 2-3%.

I added you and did use it. It probably earned me the win burning down the last 30% percent as osmose started to be a little bitch.

Didn't have a fancy setup. Aja spells, breakdowns, sentinel guard and Medica II. Less aggravating than ExDeath, but more technical in timing mitigation refreshes and when to do damage to change forms.
