So it seems that if you sleep/stop a party member Anima can't do his aoe move

i was wondering about how people fight anima. is there a preferred strat?
what I'm doing is killing the right arm and then whacking the main boss and healing through all the counter attacks. still ridiculously slow and when he gets low he starts spamming that AoE thing. i can basically only do 1 Anima each Hard
Just don't kill both arms power and armor break anima and wack away
Wasted all my stamina today farming orbs; feels good man. Actually got a decent number of power and black orbs to do some much needed upgrades. Now I ran out of gil!
Use the remaining few hours to farm the gil daily since it's technically today as well.
Welp almost done with FFX, just need to do killika island, the back to Lenna
Ugh, I can't do heroic on the Vanille event. I don't have enough abilities honed I guess. Looks like I'm sticking to hard. :/
Ochu was a dick for me in elite (aka the first 4 s/l he did regen instantly) then on the winning run he did a counter earthquake each time Paralyze wore off lol
Now let's hope i have enough ressources to abuse the Vit0 on Sin, and then i'll justh ave 3 FFV dungeons left
Sin suck es but Yay 99 stamina back to Lenna
So am I just unlucky or do the Vanille Hard Bosses arms come back like.. immediately after they are both killed?
For people who've dabbled in Vanille's heroic so far, are there any bonus conditions for any fights besides Anima? I thought I saw an SS of one with water/lightning weaknesses, but I could be wrong.
Just did a 5 mythril pull and got a 4* masamune blade (ffvii) gogo sephiroth for next months dungeons
Tried another roll to get butz's weapon.. Rolled another mother fucking healing staff. God damn it.
Think I'll start vanille tomorroe tired of lenna and I wanna finish vanille before Locke starts since it seems Annoying
92/125k..augh so close. I wish I'd kept going with Lenna's event a bit, though. I'm going to be done with this right around the time it ends I bet.
Has anyone tested the stop/paralyze method for Anima? I tried with sleep, and it didn't work. Would be nice on those 8500 memory runs.
It's tempting to keep going after 125k just because it's 50k gil every time and I find myself running out when I get into grinding/upgrading things.
