This is actually the only phone game outside of older real games (like FF6/5/4 Etc.) that I ever liked on the phone. If they make more of these I'd be interested but most of them suck.

Got another 5 star on my jp account... Gilgamesh's katana well it's not a bad weapon (better than another healing staff) but I really wanted butz's air knife :/

Oh well, gilgamesh is cool too. Once I get setzer to 50 for his rms I guess I'll toss gilgamesh in there.

Cloud and gilgamesh are likely permanent in my party now, I want to keep butz in there too but if I don't get his weapon and end up getting someone else's... Currently running hope as BLM but no idea who I want to rep him with. Lenna likely permanent too, although I may ditch her for garnet or eiko in the future, or I might use Lenna and one of them, while ditching hope.

Also, I'm like 3/less than 10 on 5 stars in this banner, crazy.

The robe and mace from Lenna's events are very good (for a new player), as is the hyper wrist.

I'm guessing you don't have either Terra or Rinoa? If not, unless you feel strongly for Rydia, I would boot Rydia and make Vanille your BLM, and Lenna your WHM. Rydia is really squishy, and can't use 3* white magic or 4* black magic, so she's not as flexible as Vanille. Vanille has less MAG, but IMO she makes up for it in other areas.

It kinda sucks that neither of the relic banners are very good right now. If I had to pick one, I'd actually pull Lenna's banner over Vanille's. While Lenna's relic SB isn't very good, her staff actually provides much more MAG and MND than normal relics (238 MAG+MND). In comparison, Vanille's only gives 199 MAG+MND. So you can put the Healing Staff on Vanille, and she can do both Black and White magic reasonably well. Genji armor + Genji helm are probably better than Kaiser Knuckles + Gold Bangle as well. Locke's event should be coming soon, so you can wait for that as well.

Did not get Terra or Rinoa. I was doing some reading on Vanille and Lenna over Rydia and will most likely go the way you suggested.

It may be possible, but it wouldn't be practical. You'd S/L like crazy due to AoEs killing your low guys.

You were correct. Tried it this morning and immediately ate fire breath and earthquake. Hard it is.

Wishing I had R2 Quake for this leveling. I am that lazy that I don't want to press more buttons. Didn't get enough orbs to upgrade it after making it from Lenna's event. What's a decent place to farm up the materials (if any?)

4* dark orb is phantom train elite (ffvi) and ;* earth is ffiv mist cave elite

Holy shit at Squall's new soul break in JP; ranged quadruple attack with 2x multiplier per hit and mastering gives perma +10 attack. I wanna see a video of it

Doesn't sound as useful as Cloud's, tbh, unless you're fighting a single target. Even then it's only 1 additional hit.

Gonna keep throwing mythril at Butz's weapon until it ends tonight I think, then save up for future events.

Did an 11 pull from the Vanille banner. Only thing worth while was 5* gold bangle and a 4* axe. Everything else was 3*, but was an upgrade to what I was using currently. Better luck next time I guess.

Not really any reason to bring Blizzara Strike over Thunder or Water Strike. I'd opt for Protectga over the 2nd curaga with a forced level up after stage 4, but I've never tried it with a second cure.

It's possible, but you'll need to save (at least) half of those power breaks for Anima. You'll definitely need a level up after to reset abilities regardless, but I'm guessing you're planning that anyway.
